We are looking for a skilled Test Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will help test, troubleshoot, and prepare electrical control and distribution equipment before it is delivered to customers. You’ll work closely with senior technicians to ensure our products meet quality standards and function safely and reliably.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:45 PM, Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed
Relocation: This position is 100%o onsite at our location in Bay St. Louis, MS with no relocation assistance provided

Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to client specifications. Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required. Conduct As-Built Quality Reviews to ensure our products meet or exceed client expectations in terms of quality, uniformity, and reliability upon final inspection.??? Facilitate the timely and effective resolution of product quality issues by serving as a liaison between the Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Managers and/or Shop Foreman. Ensure Point Eight Power’s quality and reputation by coordinating the UL labeling of products and assisting during UL inspections and other third-party inspections.??? Uphold impeccable quality levels by working closely with the Manufacturing Engineer to continually develop an understanding of Point Eight Power Policies & Procedures and ISO 9001 standards. Engage in systematic listening and responsiveness with partners and key clients by assisting the Manufacturing Engineer in handling complaints in a timely and effective manner.?? Decrease operational costs and risks by actively assisting in the development and maintenance of policies that enhance process compliance and ensure product quality.Qualifications

This is an FLSA Non-Exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state labor laws. This position is classified as non-exempt based on job duties that do not meet the exemption criteria outlined by the FLSA. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week; overtime may be required, including evenings or weekends, based on production demands. Work is performed in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to moving machinery, dust, and industrial noise Noise levels range from moderate to high; hearing protection may be required in designated areas May be exposed to varying temperatures depending on the season and production processes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and hearing protection as applicable Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift) Regularly required to lift and/or move materials up to 50 pounds; team lifts used for heavier loads Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting to handle materials or access equipment Repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions may be required depending on the task Frequent use of material handling equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified) Must have the visual acuity to inspect materials and read job orders, labels, and production instructions Requirements:The Test Foremen leads the testing and troubleshooting of electrical control and power distribution equipment during final assembly. This role ensures products meet technical specifications, comply with industry standards, and function reliably before client delivery. The supervisor also manages and develops a small team of technicians, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards are consistently met.
