The Parts Procurement & Inventory Integrity Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the shop consistently has the right parts, in the right condition, at the right time, at the right cost, and at the right place to support operations.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining shop productivity by recognizing that a truck not moving is a truck not generating revenue for its owner. Therefore, this position requires a strong sense of urgency, prioritizing rapid turnaround times while maintaining the highest standards of parts quality and cost efficiency.
The Supervisor oversees all purchasing, supplier development, inventory control, and parts logistics for a medium-sized commercial truck repair and tire operation generating approximately $3.7M annually (58% shop repairs, 44% tire sales, remainder mobile services).
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly accountable, data-driven, operationally disciplined, and experienced in commercial truck parts, with the ability to balance urgency, cost control, and efficiency.
