    Job Summary

    Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS) a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC division, is seeking a Foreman who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment with the ability to provide exceptional service and skills to our company, clients, and employees.

    Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of five divisions including Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Taurus Power and Controls (Taurus), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE LLC is a multi-state organization with operating offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii. In addition, we carry out projects across the United States.

    CCS provides industrial cleaning and spill response to almost every pulp and paper mill in the Pacific Northwest. We also service major oil companies and a wide range of manufacturing and industrial clients. CCS has demonstrated its ability to complete large and complex industrial cleaning challenges on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the most stringent industrial health & safety programs. No industrial cleaning job is too large or too small for CCS.

    The Foreman is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in pre-field duties, communicating with customers, completing daily project paperwork and assisting on-site teams.

    Education and Experience Qualifications

    High School Diploma or GEDValid Drivers License required, CDL A with Tanker Endorsement and ability to drive manual commerical vehicle preferred.Must be able to be insured under company insurance programMust be 18 years or older.3-5 years of successful experience in field management and managing projects as well as managing health and safety for mobile workforce.Experience in bulk disposal and hazardous waste handling.2-3 years of experience in confined space entry and rescue preferred.1-year minimum supervisory experienceStrong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.Ability to manage projects within budget while continually identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.Comfortable interfacing with clients to maintain, grow, and strengthen business relationships.

    Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of five divisions including Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Taurus Power and Controls/Taurus Power Services (Taurus), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal.     The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with company standards, project specifications, and all applicable safety regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and a commitment to mentoring apprentices.

    Education and Experience Qualifications

    High School Diploma or GEDValid Drivers License required and must meet eligibility requirements to be covered under the companys vehicle insurance policy.Hold an EL01 Washington Journeyman Card and an Oregon General Journeyman CardMinimum 2 years experience working in the industrial/commercial sector in an electrical related position required.Current First Aid certification preferred.May be required to meet facial hair standards in accordance with OSHAs Respiratory Protection standard (29 CFR 1910.34).

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The Journeyman Electrician possessing the education and experience listed above performs the following:

    Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.Implements necessary safety procedures and safeguards during any given job.Works directly with apprentices, and when appropriate, directly engages and mentors them.Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams to plan electrical installations.Install and bend GRC, EMT, and PVC conduits with precision.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of electrical systems and equipment in industrial and commercial settingsPerforms routine maintenance on various systems to ensure system efficiency and compliance.Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical issues and implement effective solutionsEnsure all work complies with the National Electric Code (NEC), local codes, and site-specific guidelines.Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documentation for inspections and testing.Participate in job site coordination meetings and interface with other trades.Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other job-site equipment as needed.Identify and escalate potential hazards, code violations, or design discrepancies.Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation, but able to work independently when the job requires.Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.Respectfully takes direction from manager.Other duties as assigned.

    Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

    The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:

    Move about the jobsite.Move work related equipment up to 50lbs.Remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.Operate various technological devices, including a computer.Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and/or stairs, Working at heights and operating lifts as needed.Travel approximately 25%, some overnight stays may be required per customer needs (company pay for accommodation and per diem).Perform duties in an industrial and/or construction environment, where noise levels are high at times and may involve confined spaces.
