    Job Description

    The Managing Director for PNC’s Public Finance organization will be a producing banker and help lead investment banking efforts for PNC’s Capital Markets in Texas. This role combines individual contribution with leadership, carrying both personal and team bond origination revenue goals.

    Preferred Qualifications Include:High-performing, experienced public finance investment banker with a proven track record of proactive calling and originating municipal bond business across Texas, focusing on major and middle-market transactions.Ability to elevate bond underwriting roles from co-manager to lead.Hands-on leadership skills to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering strong teamwork, communication, and a productive culture.Strategic thinking and professional execution with attention to detail.Experience in developing detailed business plans targeting client and prospect growth.Responsibility for achieving personal and team bond origination revenue goals.Excellent communication, transparency, and anticipation with senior and executive management.10+ years of industry experience.Additional Responsibilities Include:Developing and executing business plans focused on client development, retention, and increasing bond underwriting business, including up-tiering roles within underwriting teams.Growing market share and revenue, leading originations and structuring activities, and building a team culture aligned with PNC’s values.Collaborating with internal teams to originate and structure capital markets deals, maximizing production and relationship development in Texas.Driving accountability, training, coaching, and mentoring staff.Assessing client objectives, providing solutions, and maintaining relationships.Monitoring industry developments, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.Aligning department strategic goals through team coordination with senior management.Licenses Required:

    SIE, Series 52 & 63, Series 53 (79 optional). Additional licensing may be required within 180 days of employment.

    Successful candidates should demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills, and experience, including at least 8+ years in the industry, 5+ years of management experience, and a Bachelor’s degree. Certifications and licenses as specified are necessary.
