    Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
    Reports to: Accounting Director
    Status: Part-time (25 hours)
    Classification: Nonexempt

    Description Summary
    This position is responsible for oversight of all work related to accounts payable. This includes, but is not limited to accounts payable processing, Visa credit card management, reconciliations and month-end and year-end closing.

    This position is responsible for asset management recordkeeping and monthly journal entries as assigned by the Accounting Director. In addition, this role partners with the Accounting Director to train new employees and provide ongoing training and resources to ensure all employees are equipped to use software and follow accounting practices.

    Job Responsibilities
    Vendor Management: Setup new vendors as approved by Administrator and ensure vendor information is accurate and up to date. This includes management of all electronic records.Check Request & Payments: Process approved check requests for payment and process the weekly check run. This includes management and filing of all invoice files per vendor.Purchase orders & invoices: Issue Purchase Orders from approved Purchase Requisitions and process invoices charged against Purchase Orders for payment.Approvals & Reimbursements: Approve commercial credit card purchases, store account purchases, and employee reimbursements.Recurring Payments: Ensure recurring utility, service, and lease charges are processed for payment accurately and on time.Fund Transfers: Transfer funds via ACH and account transfer per Administrators request.Card & store charge reconciliation: Reconcile monthly commercial card statements and store charge statements, ensuring all charges listed on statements have been matched to those submitted by employees. Investigate and resolve unmatched items to assure charge accounts are fully paid each month.Fixed Asset Management: Manage the fixed asset records, record asset acquisitions, asset disposal, and monthly depreciation. Ensure assets are properly accounted for and oversee the annual inventory process.Month-End Close support: Assist with month-end closing process including journal entries and reconciliations.Systems Support & Training: Provide support and training for accounting software services and systems.Compliance- 1099 & W-9: Maintain W-9 records and ensure 1099 compliance; prepare and submit annual 1099 reports. This includes management of all electronic records.Credit Card Management: Assist in managing and monitoring the use of company credit cards.Backup Support: Serve as backup to the Accountant- Contributions Specialist.Special Projects: Complete special projects as assigned by the Accounting Director.Qualifications/Job Skills

    Position Title: Facilities Director

    Description Summary
    The Facilities Director is a vital leadership position at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Beyond Operations management, the Director acts as a spiritual steward of the churchs physical assets and a key leader of both staff and volunteer ministry teams. This position is central to the spiritual mission of PVBC, directly cultivating an equipping culture to ensure that the churchs facilities and grounds serve as effective instruments for worship, discipleship, and community evangelism.

    *Note: This position requires active PV Membership.

    Core Job Responsibilities
    Team Leadership & Development: Develop and equip the Facilities and Maintenance Teams and key volunteer leaders to effectively achieve the vision, goals, and strategies of PVBC.Day to Day Operations Management: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the churchs facilities and grounds. This Leader will cast a clear vision and execute strategic plans for the overall care of the facilities, grounds, and equipment- always maintaining excellence as the standard. Culture Building: Cultivate a Christ-like attitude in the day-to-day culture among staff and ministry partners. Championing a culture that multiplies and collaborates across the Facilities and Maintenance Teams, ministry partners, and key leaders.Strategic Oversight: Collaborate with the Properties Team to leverage their expertise for high-level maintenance strategies. Create and execute short- and long-term plans for renovations, equipment acquisition, and equipment replacement.Budget & Financial Management: Oversee and develop budget planning and expenditure for all Maintenance and Facility-related accounts.Safety & Security: Maintain operational responsibility for church safety and security systems, including alarms, camera systems, locking mechanisms, keys, fire/safety inspections, and OSHA safety corrective actions. Update and maintain the Facilities Emergency Manual and remain available to respond to facilities-related emergencies.Vendor & Contract Management: Responsible for all facilities, maintenance and grounds related contract labor and vendor agreements (e.g., HVAC, cleaning services, alarm systems, elevator services, exterior window cleaning, pest control).Ministry Team Coordination: Oversee and develop diverse operational team areas and their Leaders, including, but not limited to Lawn & Turf Care, Landscaping, Special Events & Projects, Safety, and Preventative Maintenance.Event Execution: Partner across departments to ensure all internal and external events are executed successfully and with excellence through collaborative team effort.Spiritual Leadership: Actively shepherd, pray with, and spiritually disciple the direct reports and volunteer leaders, ensuring a ministry environment focused on spiritual maturity and a Christ-like attitude.Qualifications & Job Skills

    Job Summary
    Pleasant Valley Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and energetic Facilities Support Team Member to fully support our vision, mission, ministries, and community partners. This physically demanding role ensures our worship, ministry, and event spaces are maintained to a high "Company Ready" standardensuring the campus is clean and crisp, organized and orderly, and open and obstruction-free. This position is central to the spiritual mission of PVBC, directly cultivating an equipping culture to ensure that the churchs facilities and grounds serve as effective instruments for worship, discipleship, and community evangelism.

    In this role, you will lead the physical transformation, reset, and support of our rooms for various internal and external events, maintain our multi-floor facilities using commercial equipment, and serve as a vital church staff representative providing excellent customer service to guests, community service participants, and ministry leaders.

    Key Responsibilities
    Event Execution, Setups, & Support
    Execute Room Setups: Review the bi-weekly Event Report and specific room schematics to efficiently set up and tear down heavy tables (including 8-foot and high-top tables), chairs, stages, partition walls, and basic media equipment.Provide Event Support (CERT): Deliver active event support using the CERT framework:Connect with event leaders before kickoff to provide a contact method.Emergency response for spills (including blood, urine, and vomit).Restroom care (wiping counters, stocking consumables, keeping toilets functioning).Trash management by pulling overflowing liners.Coordinate Schedules: Anticipate setup, reset, and support needs ahead of time by reviewing upcoming schedules alongside the Operations Coordinator and Facilities team.Facility Maintenance, Sanitization, & Resets
    Perform Daily Room Resets: Reset assigned multi-floor classrooms, offices, restrooms, and large spaces (such as the Gym, Student Rec, and Commons) back to playbook standards. This includes spot cleaning floors, pulling and replacing soiled linens, and wiping/disinfecting major touchpoints using approved chemicals like Hypochlorous Acid and Ph7 Dual.Commercial Floor Care: Safely operate and maintain commercial floor equipment, including bagless battery/corded vacuums, ride-on chariot vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and the Advance ES4000 carpet shampooer.Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash and cardboard across the campus using the Gator utility vehicle, ensuring the loading dock area remains clean and tidy.Facility Restoration & Operations
    Execute Restore Tasks: Perform preventative maintenance and deep cleaning tasks to maximize the building's lifecycle. This includes monthly carpet shampooing, running the gym floor scrubber, clearing high cobwebs, cleaning windows/glass entrances, laundering specialized colored microfibers/tablecloths separately without dryer sheets, and treating floor drains using the 3-day Push chemical plan.Light Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs and facility upkeep such as replacing ceiling tiles, changing light bulbs, or troubleshooting equipment issues within your training limits.Inventory & Supply Control: Perform inventory checks using the "Par and On-Hand" spreadsheet system to accurately track and order consumables (soap, toilet paper, liners) and cleaning products from designated vendors.Safety, Security, & Shift Handoffs
    Lockup Procedures: Open and close the facility, securing the building, turning off lights, locking doors, and activating security systems after evening or weekend events.Emergency Response: Calmly handle emergency situations, effectively utilizing the facility radio/phone, managing bloodborne pathogens safely, and coordinating with police or fire departments if necessary.Shift Collaboration: Maintain an active handoff process by communicating unaccomplished tasks to the incoming shift and coordinating schedule coverage with peers for single-off situations.Physical Requirements & Work Environment
    Heavy Lifting: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds frequently throughout your shift (e.g., table carts, chair dollies, and tilt carts).Endurance & Stamina: Capability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb ladders for up to 8 hours a day, maintaining high physical stamina to manage fast-paced transitions.Schedule: Flexible shifts including regular evening and required weekend hours based on the church, ministry, and community event calendar.Work Setting: Covers a broad, multi-floor campus layout (1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors) with varying room demands, alongside occasional outdoor tasks like trash removal.Qualifications & Skills
