About the Role
As an Employment Support Specialist, each day is spent helping individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence through meaningful employment and community involvement. You'll meet with clients in the community, at workplaces, and occasionally in their homes to provide job coaching, career exploration, and life-skills training. Position Title: Vocational/Day Support Associate Program Director (245D Supervisor)
Job Summary
Supervises the companys assigned team of Employment Support Specialists and Community Support Specialists.Is responsible for securing competitive employment on behalf of consumers and assisting consumers to maintain his/her employment status. Is responsible for assisting consumers to develop and maintain life skills to access and participate in community activities. Functions as an interim Employment Support Specialist when necessary. Oversees and ensures compliance with all established policies, regulations, practices, and procedures. Manages resources to affect positive outcomes and financial return on investment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with ensuring that all assigned consumers have the opportunity to achieve their desired employment and/or day support outcome consistent with their goals identified in the consumers support plan.Supervises assigned Employment Support Specialists and Community Support Specialists and may serve in their capacity when necessary to ensure positive results.Embraces the companys Mission and provides leadership to all staff under his/her direction in support of this mission.Keepsabreast of all changes in applicable governmental regulations and statutes regulating the business and implements, as required.Maintains consumer records and ensures compliance with all data privacy regulations. Issues reports and maintains other records, as required.Represents the company at all ID Team Meetings and information meetings applicable to thoseconsumers assigned to the Job Development Team.Completes Google calendar on Monday by 9AM thereby entering all on-site and off-site activities planned for that work week and updates throughout the week, as changes occur.Completes labor and expense reporting by entering his/her hours worked on a daily basis via the company web portal.Supervisory Responsibilities:

About the Role
A day in the life of a Vocational Coverage Specialist is dynamic, community-based, and focused on helping individuals with disabilities build independence and succeed in employment. Each day may include meeting with consumers in the community to explore career interests, assisting with resumes and job applications, practicing interview skills, and accompanying individuals to employer meetings or interviews. The role also includes providing ongoing job coaching and support to help consumers maintain employment, solve workplace challenges, and build self-advocacy skills. Between appointments, the Coverage Specialist documents services, tracks progress toward goals, coordinates with interdisciplinary team members, and adjusts schedules to meet changing consumer needsall while delivering person-centered support that empowers individuals to achieve meaningful outcomes.
