We are currently looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Technology team in Charlotte, NC. Our experienced associate position offers a unique opportunity for ambitious professionals seeking to play a meaningful role in our continued growth while gaining significant experience in M&A, debt, equity and equity-linked transactions. The experienced associate will prepare valuations, write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements, prepare M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings. The experienced associate is responsible for structuring and executing transactions, and typically functions as a backup for relationships with important clients, is generally the key contact for some clients, and begins to assume some important new business responsibilities. The primary objective of this position is to provide a high-level of professional support for the banking team within the San Francisco-based Investment Banking group. Documents include: pitchbooks, correspondence, engagement and commitment letters, memorandums, invoices, reports, and tracking sheets * Manage outbound packaging and mailing of client correspondence and packages * Compile expense reports for assigned bankers according to company policy utilizing Concur and reconcile corporate Visa accounts * Contribute proficiently and skillfully to the CRM database by updating contact information, entering call notes, assisting with deal process tracking, creating, and maintaining distribution lists. Additionally maintaining accurate pipelines and forecast * Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
