    Summary:

    The Plant Administrator serves as the support and administrative function to the manufacturing plant and office by greeting walk-in guests, answering phones, filing and completing administrative and data entry projects. Assists with payroll, recruitment, selection and onboarding. Cross train and backup in CS Shipping, as needed.

     

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    Conducts administrative duties such as answering multi-line phone system, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documentsLiaison for all visitors, internal and externalSetting up the conference room with specific needs for meetingsRetrieves information as requested and prepares summaries of data when neededAssist with, payroll, recruitment, time keeping, selection, and onboardingMaintains office and break room supplies by keeping inventory and placing orders when neededProvides clerical support to assist management staff, accounting, and Human ResourcesPerforms or facilitates maintenance of office equipment, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairsResponds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questionsPerforms other related duties as assigned

     

    Skills & Knowledge:

    Self-motivation, dependability, team orientedIntermediate computer skills (MS Office)Ability to learn new skillsBasic Mathematical skillsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong organization and time managementProfessionalismEnergetic

     

    Educational Requirements:

    High School diploma or GED

     

    Preferred Experience:

    1-2 years office/computer experience

     

    Physical Requirements:

    Are you an experienced leader in manufacturing operations? We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee our plant’s daily operations in Rupert, Idaho. This key role offers the opportunity to shape the future of the facility, drive performance improvements, and foster a strong organizational culture.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead, direct, and manage plant operations, ensuring overall safety, quality, service, productivity, and financial performance.Oversee the performance of subordinate department managers and office staff.Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve operational efficiency.Execute annual operating budgets, offering recommendations and making adjustments as needed.Drive employee development initiatives, including staffing, training, and career progression.Serve as the primary point of contact between the plant and the company’s corporate office, collaborating closely with corporate accounting and HR teams.Lead project management initiatives to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.Foster a positive and productive work culture that aligns with the company’s values and business objectives.Set clear goals, track progress, and drive strategies to meet corporate and regional business objectives.Report directly to the VP of Operations.

     

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in plant management or similar leadership role in manufacturing operations.Strong understanding of safety, quality, service, and productivity standards.Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.Financial acumen, including budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control.Ability to communicate effectively with both plant staff and corporate leadership.Experience working with cross-functional teams, including HR and accounting departments.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (preferred).Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly desired.
