    OFFSHORE OILFIELD MECHANIC

    Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Offshore Oilfield Mechanic to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of oilfield equipment, with a specialized focus on Waukesha and Cooper engines. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, and a dedication to safety.


    Key Responsibilities

    Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Waukesha and Cooper engines and other associated rotating equipment in the field.Maintain compressors, engines, triplex and centrifugal pumps (pneumatic, gas/diesel or electric)Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on turbine engines as needed.Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions in equipment.Troubleshoot and service natural gas and diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble pumps, including replacing seals, bearings, and other components as necessary.Conduct major mechanical overhauls independently.Operate and test repaired equipment to verify the effectiveness of the repairs and ensure it meets operational standards.Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and work performed.Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols and environmental regulations, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Operate a variety of hand, power, and diagnostic tools effectively and safely.Provide clear and professional communication with team members, supervisors, and customers regarding equipment status and repair timelines.



    Qualifications

    Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a field or heavy-duty mechanic in the oil and gas industry.Technical Skills:Proven experience with the maintenance and repair of:Waukesha and Cooper Engines:In-depth knowledge of Waukesha and Cooper natural gas engines, including diagnostics and preventative maintenance.Pumps: Experience with Positive Displacement (PD) and Centrifugal pump systems.Education:High school diploma or GED required.Certifications & Licensing:Safety certifications & Training will be providedWork Environment:Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including outdoor conditions with varying weather.Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and climbing.Attributes:Strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety..

    Job Summary:


    We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Production Operator to join our offshore team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient monitoring and maintenance of oil and gas production equipment and systems on our continental shelf platforms. This is an opportunity for a skilled individual to work in a dynamic and challenging marine environment with a company that prioritizes safety and professional growth.

    Responsibilities:

    Operations and monitoring:Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment, such as separators, pumps, compressors, and instrumentation.Conduct regular inspections and rounds of the facility, recording key data such as pressures, temperatures, and fluid levels.Operate and control the production process from a control panel, adjusting flow, pressure, and temperature as needed to meet production targets.Execute start-up and shutdown procedures for wells and facility systems according to established protocols.Maintenance and troubleshooting:Diagnose and troubleshoot operational problems or equipment malfunctions and initiate corrective actions.Prepare equipment for maintenance work, including isolation, draining, and de-pressurization.Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure repairs are carried out safely and efficiently.Safety and environmental compliance:Uphold and promote a "Goal Zero" safety culture, adhering to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.Participate in safety meetings, emergency drills, and incident investigations.Utilize safety processes, such as a "Permit to Work" system, to safely prepare for maintenance.Ensure all activities are performed in an environmentally responsible manner, including reporting spills or releases.Follow all company, state, and federal safety regulations, including BSEE standards.Documentation and reporting:Complete mandatory paperwork and use computer systems to accurately log production data and report daily activities.Conduct thorough shift turnovers, providing written and verbal communication to the relieving crew about ongoing issues or operational conditions.Team collaboration:Communicate effectively with other operators, engineers, and support teams to ensure smooth and safe operations.Assist in the training and development of less experienced operators.



    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED required. An associate degree or relevant technical training is preferred.T-2 and Crane CertificationsExperience in oil and gas production, preferably in an offshore or industrial environment.Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Must be able to pass physical fitness, drug, and background screenings.Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET/HUET) are typically required or must be obtained upon hiring.

    Work Environment:

    This is a rotational position involving extended periods working offshore on a production platform (e.g., 14/14 or 7/7).Work is conducted outdoors in all weather conditions and indoors in a control room.Physical requirements include working at heights, in confined spaces, and the ability to lift heavy equipment as needed.Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as part of the shift schedule.
