Job Duties
Service, maintenance, and repairs on all makes and kW sizes of generatorsInspect, Repair, Service and Start-Up Load Bank Test Requirements on EquipmentTroubleshoot all generator components including engine, alternator, controllers, wiring harnesses, safety devices, battery systems and cooling systems. Start-up and load bank test equipment Apply technical skills to identify the Problem and Cause of Failure through Logical Troubleshooting Steps, Determine Corrective Action Repair and Troubleshoot Engines such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU and Volvo, among othersComplete field service reports(FSR’s) daily.Requirements
High School Diploma or G.E.D.Clear criminal and driving recordsMinimum of 3 years’ of experience working with industrial power generations sets or similar transferrable skills Experience with diesel and natural/LP gas engines, electrical switch gear, and automatic transfer switchesMust have your own set of general toolsUse of computers/mobile devices for web based service & work order systemMust be physically able to lift 75lbs with no restrictionsDesired Skills
Strong work ethic and the ability to work with little supervisionStrong written and verbal skills (English)Independent self-starterExcellent customer relationship skillsOEM Training & Certification a PlusEGSA Certification a plusBenefits Include
