    The Public Health Registered Nurse concentrates on the care of individual TB patients and the broader impact of TB on individuals, families, and communities. The TB Nurse Case Manager participates in direct and indirect interventions to treat TB disease and reduce transmission within the community. TB-related duties are carried out using a case management framework that integrates assessment and analytical skills, program planning, education and communication, cultural humility, community engagement, public health science competencies, and leadership.

    Administers general nursing care to patients in an assigned area including but not limited to hospitals, clinics, mobile units, program events and homes;Administers medications, including but not limited to reproductive/sexual health treatments, STI/HIV treatments, and vaccinations/immunizations following physician or nurse practitioner orders or standing order;Observes, records and reports patients' reactions, responses, and general condition;Conducts utilization reviews and/or clinical quality assurance/improvement and prepares related reports;Confers with physicians, managers, or department heads regarding Quality Assurance/Utilization Management (QA/UM) problems and recommends alternative solutions;Ensures the competency of proper standards of nursing per division and department policies, procedures and standing orders;Acts as a preceptor and teaches nursing practices and orients new personnel;Assumes responsibilities for all clinical activities within nursing scope of practice if needed, including phlebotomy and laboratory procedures;Participates in programs to community health, such as outreach programs, child health conferences, school health programs, group instructions for parents/guardians, clinical services programs, home care services, etc.;Participates in emergency preparedness exercises and core members of the clinical response team;Plans for and participates in field research related to public health nursing.
    Minimum Qualifications:

    Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree and a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona. An active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is acceptable, as well.

    Pima County Regional Wastewater Department is seeking three Operations and Maintenance Technicians III (O&M) to join the team. O&M Technician III is responsible for safely operating and monitoring selected equipment involved in the treatment, processing, and resource reclamation of wastewater and biosolids. In this role, you will ensure the continuity of wastewater treatment operations by performing preventive maintenance and adjustments to equipment and systems, including pumps, motors, blowers, chemical feed equipment, sludge equipment, and basic laboratory equipment. This position is also responsible for collecting and analyzing wastewater samples and recording data relating to the operations and maintenance of equipment and treatment processes.

    Work assignments, shifts, and locations will vary depending on the department's needs and will be communicated to the incumbent by the supervisor/treatment management.

    O&M Technician III is expected to perform all duties and responsibilities of the O&M Technician - Level I and Level II;Follows all safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) and confined space procedures;Operates and trains staff on new and advanced wastewater and solids treatment processing equipment and systems;Uses advanced operating principles of facility Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and computerized maintenance management systems;Uses intermediate level algebra and other mathematical calculations;Collects and analyzes wastewater samples in field and laboratory settings, reports results;Interprets readings on metering/process control devices and testing/analysis results, and adjusts equipment and machinery operations as necessary;Evaluates, troubleshoots, and adjusts all equipment and processes involved in the treatment and processing of wastewater and its byproducts, including solids, gas, service water, and side streams;Makes process control recommendations to the Supervisor and/or management team based on field observations and laboratory results;Prepares for and responds to process and equipment changes when placing equipment into or out of service, hydraulic loading events, and other plant emergencies;Assists with data table/spreadsheet creation &/or modification;Assists in performing most duties of O&M Supervisors, including conducting tours of facilities;Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly plant highlight reports or other reports to management;Performs QA/QC on lab processes and data;Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
    Minimum Qualifications:

    High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency, a valid Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Grade 3 (or higher) Wastewater Treatment System Operator certification, at least 3 years of experience in the operation of an advanced, complex wastewater/water facility or related industry/facility with at least 2 years as an operator at a Grade 3 or 4 wastewater facility (Section R18-5-114).

    Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (RWRD) is seeking candidates for an Infrastructure Manager responsible for overseeing industrial process infrastructure associated with the operation of a large wastewater utility.
