    Job Summary - The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of the complete revenue cycle for Primary Care, Pediatrics, Dental, and Behavioral Health services. Leads revenue optimization, regulatory compliance, revenue integrity, billing operations, denials management, patient financial services, payer relations, reporting, and staff development. Provide leadership for all revenue cycle staff; supervise staffing, productivity, annual evaluations, coaching, disciplinary actions, and payroll approvals; partner with executive leadership, operations, finance, compliance, and clinical leaders to achieve organizational goals. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications -

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field;

    Experience:

    5+ years of progressive revenue cycle experience;3 years of management experience;Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Expertise:Strong knowledge of FQHC operations, medical, dental, and behavioral health billing;

    Certifications:

    Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), preferred;Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), preferred;Certified Professional Coder (CPC), preferred;Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), preferred;

    Systems Knowledge:

    Proficient with clearinghouse processes, denial management tools, and reporting platforms;Advanced proficiency with EMR Systems, Athena Centricity, Dentrix, and Epic, preferred.

    Pay Range: $61,889.00 - $83,173.00 (commensurate with years of experience)

    About Position:  The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides outstanding support to the primary care provider while delivering exceptional care to patients. This position provides clinical care, including check ins, vital signs, electrocardiogram tests (ECG), injections and PPD placements/readings, eye and ear irrigation, Thrombo-Embolic Deterrent (TED) hose and compression socks, specimen processing, procedure assistance, laboratory administrative functions, screening tests, autoclave use and maintenance, and quality controls for Point-of-Care Testing (POCT). While performing POCT, the incumbent completes administrative and clinical tasks to support PHS’ laboratories.

    The CMA participates in pre-visit planning and huddles with the interdisciplinary care team. For patients, this role explains procedures, treatments, and medication usage, provides educational materials and follow-up care, and delivers relevant information provided by the medical provider. Additionally, this position may float to other clinical sites at PHS’ clinics.

    This position coordinates with other clinical staff, supports and assists teammates and providers in the provision of exceptional care, and is an essential part of Piedmont’s healthcare team. Our patient care is delegated under the NC Medical Board and the NC Board of Nursing regulations.
