New to the field? Pennsylvania now requires Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy. We'll walk you through exactly how to register, and once you're on board, we provide comprehensive hands-on training to set you up for a long-term career in pharmacy.
What You'll Learn and Do
We train every team member across the full range of pharmacy technician skills, all performed under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, including:
Greeting and assisting customers with excellent serviceEntering patient demographics and processing prescription claimsCompounding non-sterile medications in our labCounting, packaging, labeling, and organizing prescription ordersPreparing and packaging customer orders for shippingReceiving and processing incoming shipments of drug products and ancillary suppliesHandling inbound calls, identifying customer needs, and routing calls appropriatelyBuilding strong customer relationships by going the extra mileMeeting personal and team performance goalsOther clerical tasks as assignedWhat We're Looking For
PA Board of Pharmacy Registration (required — if you're not registered yet, we'll help you get there)High school diploma or equivalentExperience with MS Excel and Outlook (preferred)Comfort learning and working in multiple software programsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to stand for 6–8 hours per dayAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPay
$16 per hour to start for trainees, up to $24 per hour for registered CPhT technicians - lab experience highly desired
