    Position Summary

    The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting the company's quality management system, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, maintaining inspection equipment, and assisting production teams in meeting quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with precision measuring instruments, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Maintain and distribute customer drawings, specifications, and quality documentation to production personnel.Provide production teams with the necessary inspection equipment, gauges, and measuring tools required for manufacturing processes.Perform calibration, maintenance, and recordkeeping for all in-house measuring instruments and equipment.Assist in maintaining and improving the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.Serve as a resource for production employees by answering questions related to customer specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.Conduct routine in-process and final inspections to verify product conformity.Monitor production processes and assist in ensuring all quality procedures and work instructions are properly followed.Identify quality issues and support corrective action activities as needed.Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and calibration documentation.Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.


    Qualifications

    Required

    High school diploma or GED.Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or quality technician experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques and quality control procedures.Strong computer and documentation skills.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.     Qualifications
