Job Summary
Cleans floors and carpets.
General Accountabilities
Scrubs, shines, clean and repairs carpeted and noncarpeted areas.
Determines which cleaning solution works best on specific stains.
Identifies the carpet fiber and padding type before preparing an estimate or performing a job.
Prepares estimates and clearly defines the terms of contract with customers.
Explains the cleaning solutions to be used and estimated drying times.
Answers questions about difficult stains.

Job Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: A few months to 1 year of related experience

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable, self-motivated Janitorial Team Member with attention to detail to join our team as a Part-Time Janitor for the 2nd shift.
Job Responsibilities
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all clients.Cleaning Duties: Perform all necessary duties to provide high-quality cleaning-related services in a timely manner, ensuring all tasks for the shift are completed.Furniture Handling: Efficiently and safely move furniture as needed to prepare for cleaning and return it to its original location.Pace and Detail: Perform cleaning-related duties at a reasonable pace, ensuring safety and attention to detail.Equipment Maintenance: Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the supervisor promptly.Supply Management: Notify the supervisor of any shortage of supplies to ensure continuous operations.Safety: Ensure all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries.Confidentiality: Be mindful of confidentiality and respect clients' right to privacy.Driving: Drive the company vehicle as needed for various tasks and responsibilities.Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of cleaning experience with working knowledge of janitorial equipment and proper use of cleaning chemicals.License: Must have a valid CT Driver’s License with an excellent driving history.Physical Ability: Ability to move and/or lift an average of 50 lbs. and perform repetitive motions of reaching/pulling, stooping, twisting, and crouching.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills.Safety Ownership: Ability to take ownership for associate's safety.Medication Disclosure: Must disclose any medication that might impair ability to perform the job safely or competently.Availability: Must be flexible with availability to work nights and weekends as needed.Age: At least 18 years of age.Eligibility: Eligible to work in the United States.Background Check: Must pass all hiring process requirements, including a background check.Job Type:
