We are a designated receiving facility for Baker Act admissions, which includes individuals who are a threat or harm to themselves or others.The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is designed to provide quality, comprehensive care for those in the community who are in need of stabilization in a structured, secure setting. Separate facilities which provide brief, intensive services for adults and children in crisis that include diagnoses, medication, and health education, as well as individual and group therapies, recreational activities, and discharge planning. The program is designed to assess the need for current treatment and symptom alleviation. RN may be responsible for supervising other nurses and mental health technicians if assigned. Facility contains 2 crisis stabilization units with 30 beds each. One unit is all adults. Clientele includes the homeless population and those with insurance.
Pool/PRN staff must work a minimum of 24 hours per month and complete all required trainings/recertifications within designated time-frames.
