    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Duties of the Forklift Operator include but are not limited to supplying various production areas with new product, removing finished product and general clean up.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The duties of the Production Machine Operator include but are not limited to operating high-speed machines, handling of sharps blades, changing of blades, cleaning machines on product change over.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Dock Lead is primarily responsible for the effective shipping and receiving functions of the dock in regards to the forklift drivers, unloading, and loading both inbound and outbound trucks. The Dock Lead will report directly to the Shipping and Receiving Assistant Manager.

    Requirements:

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Leading dock operations – either in receiving or outbound Help train new employees in the process of receiving and/or outboundLead team in handling of incoming freightCommunicate with Shipping Office staff to coordinate dock door assignment of incoming carriers based on the Priority Load List and Load Planner.Prepare cartons on a scale for QC to inspect proper weight of products (I.E Bean Loads)Prepare shipment, including coordination of staging and wrapping pallets.Direct the loading and unloading of palletized produce from tractor trailersLead team in rotating product based on instructions from the Quality Control and Quality Assurance Manager or the Inventory Control ManagerAssist forklift drivers and stackers as necessaryOperate forklifts and electric manual hand jacks (following proper training)Coordinate and assist with warehouse cleaning at the end of shiftMonitor proper PPE (personal protective equipment) that is required to be wornMust follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), USDA, and DOL standardsMust follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Occupational Safety Procedures, and all Floor Safety guidelines related to the position or being on the Warehouse Floor.


    QUALIFICATIONS

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Inventory Specialist is responsible for tracking, managing, and maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse or production facility. This role ensures that all products and materials are accounted for, properly stored, and efficiently distributed to meet operational and customer demands. The specialist will conduct inventory audits, update records, and coordinate with various departments to optimize inventory flow.

    Requirements:

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.Monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies, reporting any shortages or overages.Track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure proper documentation and stock updates.Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste, loss, or damage.Update inventory databases, spreadsheets, and software with real-time stock levels.Generate inventory reports for management, detailing stock levels, usage trends, and discrepancies.Assist in forecasting inventory needs based on historical data and demand trends.Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure stock availability.Communicate with suppliers and vendors to verify shipments and resolve order discrepancies.Assist in organizing warehouse storage to optimize space and accessibility.Ensure all inventory items are stored under proper conditions to maintain quality.Follow company policies and industry regulations regarding inventory handling and tracking.Participate in implementing best practices for inventory accuracy and efficiency.


    QUALIFICATIONS

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The duties of the Production Machine Operator include but are not limited to operating high-speed machines, handling of sharps blades, changing of blades, cleaning machines on product change over.

    Requirements:

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

    This position requires 1 year of experience with a vertical form fill bagging machine. This position requires 1-3 years of general work experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High school Diploma or GED preferred.


    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Adequate training and understanding of FAMOUS & RIMS as it relates to the coordination of accurate order fulfillmentFirm knowledge of product sizes, varieties, sensitivity, location, and backgrounds.Verify correct labeling of orders; ensures proper pallet count; verifies that order is properly selected; understands the role of a Forklift driver & Stacker; familiarizes pallets within proper palletization and stacking procedures; understands FIFO method; assists in clean billing of orders; repack broken products for continued usage; knows when to release an order, knows when to release back orders.Properly and efficiently assign work for forklift drivers before they arrive for another assignment.Understand preferences for the various customer bases, ensuring proper quality and quantity for customer orders; expresses neatness and care through proper order selection.     WORKING CONDITIONS

    Pero Family Farms is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Controller to join the organization's accounting team. As an Assistant Controller, you will assist the Controller with overseeing and managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing strategic financial guidance to the company's management team.     Requirements:

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
