    Candidate Profile



    JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
    Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
    4+ years of substantive employment litigation experience
    Experience representing employers in federal and California state employment matters
    Exposure to class action and PAGA litigation preferred, but not required
    Strong understanding of federal and California employment laws and regulations
    Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of complex litigation, including briefing, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
    Prior experience at a large California defense firm or a smaller boutique firm handling sophisticated management-side employment matters
    Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail
    Collaborative mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional client service


    Key Responsibilities




    Represent employers in a wide range of employment litigation matters, including class actions, PAGA actions, and single-plaintiff matters
    Conduct factual investigations and manage complex discovery, including Electronically Stored Information (ESI)
    Take and defend depositions and participate in court hearings and settlement conferences
    Draft pleadings, substantive briefs, dispositive motions, and other litigation documents
    Support case strategy and collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys
    Advise clients on litigation risk and provide proactive, business-focused counsel
