    Senior National Commercial Title Insurance Underwriting Counsel & Manager (Remote)

    Our client, a prominent financial services company specializing in commercial real estate transactions, is seeking a Senior Commercial Title Insurance Underwriting Manager to lead a team of underwriters and title professionals(link removed) This role offers an opportunity to drive operational success while providing expert underwriting support for complex commercial transactions.

    Candidate Profile:

    JD required.
    Active State Bar Admission.
    10+ years of title insurance underwriting experience with a focus on complex commercial real estate transactions.
    Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to real estate title insurance and settlement services(link removed)>
    Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams(link removed)>
    Experience managing title underwriting operations at a national or regional level(link removed)>
    Proven ability to establish and maintain high-level relationships with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders.
    Strong business acumen and strategic decision-making skills.
    National Commercial title experience preferred.
    Can be remotely based with ability to travel to Orlando or Tampa, if necessary.


    What Youll Do:

    Manage the daily operations of the title underwriting team, setting priorities and ensuring the highest standards of service in commercial transactions.
    Develop and implement underwriting strategies in collaboration with senior management to align with broader business objectives.
    Oversee and guide title underwriting reviews, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations(link removed)>
    Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, attorneys, and industry professionals to expand business opportunities.
    Represent the company at industry events and networking functions to enhance market presence and drive new business.
    Provide training and mentorship to underwriting teams, ensuring operational efficiency and professional development.
    Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing and sales, to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
    Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes to inform underwriting policies and practices.
