    Proposal Coordinator / Marketing Coordinator Pepper Construction provides clients the experience and resources of a national company, combined with the hands-on approach of a local company. At Pepper Construction, marketing plays a critical role in how we tell our story, strengthen our brand and pursue new opportunities. We're looking for a marketing professional with one to three years of experience to lead proposal development, design layouts, internal and external communications and promotional materials. The ideal candidate combines strong design and writing skills with strategic thinking, attention to detail and a collaborative approach, creating compelling content that helps position Pepper for continued success. The creation of proposals, qualifications and marketing materials with strategy, writing, design and production. Develop and coordinate project interview presentations and materials. Develop and update marketing materials (brochures, resumes and project cards). Collaborate with project teams to document active and completed projects and develop content for proposals, case studies, brochures, and the company website. Develop project overviews, case studies, e-blasts, social media content, project announcements, awards submissions and survey responses as needed. Managing and updating our marketing database. Assist with the coordination of project and staff photoshoots to ensure our visuals shine. Design and produce jobsite signage, advertisements, website and blog content, event invitations, internal video boards and other graphic marketing materials as needed. Produce, edit and optimize video content for use across social media, the company website and proposal submissions. Support tradeshows with creative and booth setup. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. At least 1 - 3 years' relevant experience in the A/E/C industry (preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong writing, design and organizational skills. You're a pro at both layout and storytelling (AP style). Bonus points for experience with video editing and photography (we love a good camera moment). A go-getter attitude with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team. Excellent communication skills and a passion for making work fun. JOB TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE PROJECT COORDINATOR POSITION SUMMARY Under the close direction of a construction professional, Project Coordinators perform a wide range of duties associated with a general contracting construction project from start to close out. They operate as the administrative hub of a project team. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Reprioritize workload when project shifts ensuring schedule and assignments are clearly communicated to all necessary team members. Confidently communicate with all project team members including, but not limited to the Client, Architect, Engineer, Subcontractors, Project Managers and Field Personnel to coordinate and communicate project needs and requirements. Mange multiple requests in a timely fashion and reprioritize to meet shifting deadlines. Facilitate the subcontractor bid process through effective use of all technology tools. Administer and coordinate all documents associated with a project from initial bid process to project closeout. Able to utilize software programs and templates to fit the specific project needs, typically CMiC, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, ShareFile, and Outlook programs. Provide project support to Field Supervision. Actively participate in project status meetings. Back up other project coordinators during absence and peak workload Provide switchboard coverage relief. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Prior experience working in construction or a related field. High School diploma/GED. College degree preferred. Minimum 1-3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced construction environment Solid understanding/proficiency with desktop software. Strong time management, written and oral communication skills, multi-tasking and organizational skills are required.     POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent for a mission-critical data center construction project. Superintendents are responsible for the overall direction of field operations, completion schedules, and labor budget outcome of their construction project, including any self-perform work. They will direct and supervise all Pepper Construction field personnel and all subcontractors on the jobsite effectively to bring the project to a successful completion from groundbreaking to commissioning. Our superintendents establish a positive and effective work relationship with the members of the Project Team (Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors).

     

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Site Management

    · Plan and schedule project, including short interval schedules

    · Schedule manpower and develop a working budget based on the estimates and project schedule.

    · Control job progress by managing subcontractors, solving problems and conflicts, using proper documentation, quality control and safety control techniques on the job.

    · Control project costs by weekly evaluation of labor, material, and equipment costs, adjusting to ensure a fair profit while maximizing customer satisfaction foremost.

    · Demonstrate superior construction process knowledge, with an emphasis on data experience and/or MEP.

     

    PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

     

    · Ensure customer satisfaction by recognizing and meeting all the client's needs.

    · Provide leadership through team building communications, motivation, confidence, good judgment and listening to others.

    · Manage and mentor other Pepper Construction Supervisors.

    · Ensure that all parties understand the importance of safety on the project and educate all that need it.

     

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    · Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent knowledge through commercial construction supervision experience.

    · Significant experience with at least 8 years as a manager of commercial construction activities in the field. Must possess superior construction knowledge and excellent personnel management skills

    · 5+ years of field supervision experience.

    · Experience with data center, mission critical, or hyperscale construction

    · Experience overseeing MEP-intensive construction projects

    · Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest for projects
