    Job Description

    The Field Service Technician 3 performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repair of low-, medium-, and high-voltage power systems at client sites throughout the US. This role requires 90% travel, primarily within the Gulf Coast region, and operates with a high degree of independence. The ideal candidate combines strong electrical controls experience with excellent customer communication skills and a commitment to safety. You'll serve as the on-site technical expert, building client relationships while keeping critical power equipment running reliably.  

     

    Sign-On Bonus: $1000

    Travel: 90% within the US | Occasional international travel 

    Location: Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, or Mississippi (must reside in one of these states)  

     

    Accountabilities 

    Leads jobs and manages field activities 

    Perform installation, calibration, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on power generation equipment 

    Troubleshoot and repair breakers, shutdown switches, wiring harnesses, alternators, battery systems, and control panels 

    Conduct root cause analysis on complex electrical failures 

    Work with arc-resistant systems and perform field surveys 

    Serve as the on-site technical expert answering questions, educating clients on maintenance best practices, and building long-term relationships 

    Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and timelines 

    Partner with Engineering, Production, and Sales teams on service estimates and parts recommendations 

    Mentor junior technicians as you develop leadership skills 

    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives 

    Provide emergency support when critical systems go down (rotating on-call schedule) 

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Knowledge/Experience 

    4+ years working with generators, governors, regulators, switchgear, or similar power equipment 

    TWIC Card 

    Industry Background: Power generation, utilities, oil & gas, marine, or energy sectors 

    Electrical Controls: Solid hands-on experience with electrical control systems 

    Tools: Proficient with multimeters, hand tools, wiring equipment, and soldering 

    Software: Comfortable with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting 

    Driver's License: Valid license with clean driving record (required for travel), Required. 

    Strong customer interaction and reporting skills 

    Preferred  

    Technical diploma in Industrial Electrical, Maintenance, or related field 

    EGSA Certification 

    PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley, Quantum, Premium) 

    Relay programming experience (Basler, Multilin, Sepam, Woodward) 

    Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, Fiber Optic) 

    Experience with GE, Siemens, or Woodward devices 

    Education 

    High school diploma or GED required.

    Manual Dexterity: Occasional use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.  

    Lifting: Ability to lift and carry items up to fifty (50) pounds. All lifting should be done following OSHA standards.

    Job Description

    The Painter is responsible for applying protective and finish coatings to sheet metal building components, ensuring professional, durable finishes that meet customer specifications and quality standards for custom projects in the oil and gas, marine, and energy markets. 

     

    Schedule: Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 12am | Occassional Saturdays

     

    Accountabilities 

    Inspect surfaces to assess readiness for painting. 

    Prepare assemblies by cleaning, masking, and priming as needed. 

    Identify and address surface imperfections before coating application. 

    Mix primers, paints, and coatings according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines. 

    Apply coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers based on job requirements. 

    Follow drawing specifications to ensure correct colors, thickness, and coverage. 

    Achieve smooth, consistent finishes free of runs, drips, or imperfections. 

    Apply multiple coats as required, allowing proper drying time between applications. 

    Inspect finished surfaces to verify conformance to specifications. 

    Measure coating thickness and document results as required. 

    Identify defects and perform touch-ups or corrections as needed. 

    Maintain accurate records for quality control purposes. 

    Maintain spray guns, hoses, and other painting equipment in good working condition. 

    Clean and store equipment properly after each use. 

    Monitor paint and material inventory and communicate supply needs. 

    Follow all safety protocols for working with paints, solvents, and coatings. 

    Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and protective clothing. 

    Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. 

    Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to regulations. 

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required knowledge/Experience 

    2+ years of industrial painting experience in a commercial or manufacturing setting. 

    Experience with spray application techniques and equipment. 

    Familiarity with primers, epoxies, urethanes, and other industrial coatings. 

    Skilled in mixing and applying paints to achieve specified finishes. 

    Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and color codes. 

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.  

    Understanding of coating systems and proper application techniques. 

    Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards. 

     

    Preferred 

    Coating certifications (NACE, SSPC).

    The Support Tech will be responsible for supporting the Blast and Brake Forming areas. This role 

    will provide safe and timely movement, storage, and organization of materials throughout the production floor to support maximized efficiency and reduce downtime for machine operators. This role requires a safety-first mindset, with strict adherence to all safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. The Support Technician demonstrates strong ownership mentality, taking full responsibility for their work area, anticipating team needs, and contributing to continuous improvement and overall production flow. 

    Schedule: Monday to Friday 5am to 2:30pm | Will work occasional Saturdays   

    Accountabilities 

    Deliver raw materials and components to Blast and Brake forming operators as needed 

    Remove finished or processed materials from workstations and relocate to the appropriate areas 

    Transport work sections between staging areas and active workstations 

    Organize and maintain staging areas with clear job number identification 

    Clean and clear workstations of debris, preparing them for the next cycle or process 

    Ability to read and understand work orders, production tags, labels, and basic schematics

    Job Description

    The Painter/Blaster is a key member of the Fabrication Department, responsible for preparing metal parts and welded assemblies for production by performing abrasive blasting techniques to remove rust, scale, grease, and other surface contaminants. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all components meet Mission Critical Group's quality standards before advancing to the next stage of the manufacturing process. The Painter/Blaster is expected to operate blasting equipment safely and efficiently, inspect completed work for quality compliance, and always maintain a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, production-focused, and committed to upholding the high standards of craftsmanship that allow Mission Critical Group to deliver superior products to clients across the oil and gas, marine, and energy markets.     Accountabilities

    Experience using blasting tools and equipment (e.g., blast pot, dust collector, recovery unit)

The Production department is responsible for the fabrication of raw materials as needed to manufacture quality Mission Critical Group products in a timely manner. The overall objective of the Bus CNC Operator 1 position is to engage in all activities concerned with producing parts by operating a CNC machine and ensure that jobs are completed and shipped as scheduled while meeting our quality standards. Consistent and accurate modeling and representing the Mission Critical Group brand, mission, vision, values and organizational strategy are essential to achieving the goals of the organization. 

     

    Schedule: Monday to Friday 6AM to 4PM or 7AM to 5PM |Must be flexible to work overtime and some Saturdays 

     

    Accountabilities 

    Support the effort to be a best-in-class manufacturer through the fabrication of high-quality products that exceed our clients’ expectations by operating either the Punch Press or Break Press machines to cut holes or bend materials as needed for the fabrication of our products. This includes the following: 

    Retrieving the punch list, parts list, and applicable CNC programs to create parts as needed per job.  

    Locating and moving or pulling raw sheet metal material as described by the parts list per job. 

    Loading materials onto the machine in preparation for punch or break and safely securing materials on the machine with the use of clamps, fingers or other fixtures. 

    Selecting die clearance, punches, tools, or other attachments needed to complete projects based on the specifications of the materials; Install and align them as needed to ensure optimal performance.  

    Coordinating with other CNC Operators to enter commands or adjust machine controls to correct errors, especially while operating the break press.  

    Monitoring machines and control panel displays to ensure machines are operating correctly.  

    Using tools, such as calipers and protractors, to measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.  

    Staging parts as completed to prepare for the next phase of fabrication.  

    Maintaining a safe, clean, well-organized work area.  

    Perform necessary side operations during machine cycle time as required. 

    Training with the Bus CNC Foremen to develop the skills and learn how to operate both machines.  

    Perform other duties as assigned. 

    Qualifications

    Required Knowledge/Experience 

    0-1 year of sheet metal fabrication or CNC operator 

    Ability to read and understand blueprints 

    Excellent mechanical skills and aptitude in supporting CNC sheet metal equipment, the ability to visualize 3D parts from cut sheets. Good math skills and qualified basic computer skills.

    Work Environment and Physical Demands   

    This is a FLSA non-exempt position paid on an hourly basis. Overtime may be required based on production demands, including extended shifts, weekends, or holidays.  

    This role is based on the production floor. The position requires standing for extended periods, working around machinery, and adherence to all safety and compliance standards.  

    Mobility: Ability to move around the manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs.  

    Manual Dexterity: Occasional use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.  

    Lifting: Ability to lift and carry items up to fifty (50) pounds. All lifting should be done following OSHA standards.  

    Visual and Auditory Requirements: Must be able to see and hear well enough to navigate the plant safely and communicate effectively with team members.
