Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2ND Welder/Fabricator to join our production team. The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for welding metal components together with MIG or TIG welding equipment to fabricate or repair products.
Key Responsibilities:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, operating and maintenance manuals, safety rules, and short correspondence and memos.Ability to read prints, welding procedures and welding specifications as they relate to a specific customer's job.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.Ability to read and use a tape measure.Ability to use welding equipment including measuring devices for determining weld sizes.Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but simple written or oral instructions.Will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb or balance.The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.
