Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur Residential Aides (RA) are our on-site staff who provide support at our group home(s) as our clients work towards achieving their treatment goals. RM’s are expected to engage our clients every shift and to “meet them where they are.”.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring a safe and secure environment twenty-four hours a dayRegularly checking common spaces and clients’ rooms to ensure client safetyDispensing regularly prescribed medication to our clients throughout the day and night.Assisting Clients in completing daily livingPreparing Breakfast and Dinner for clientsCompleting online forms (i.e., shift reports, behavior violations, incident reports) to communicate what has occurred during your shiftAssisting Clients in cleaning up after themselves and completing choresEngaging clients in activities to assist in their social, educational, emotional, and physical health and developmentSkills needed:

A High School Diploma or GED PLUS 3-5 years of experience working with youth and/ or the child welfare systemOr
An Associate’s Degree or Higher, PLUS 1 year of experience working with youth and the Child Welfare systemApplicants must complete and pass a state police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint background check to work with youth.Weekends are not optionalApplicants must be in good health to maintain an acceptable attendance record established by the agency.Applicants must be able to lift objects (50 lbs for 1 person and 150 lbs for 2 people) using appropriate lifting techniques.Applicants must be able to work rotating shifts and complete assigned training(s)https://peoplerusresidential.com/
