    Position Summary

    As a Senior ISSO, you will lead Authorization to Operate (ATO) sustainment for Offutt DRSN and related NC3 mission systems. This is a hands-on, technical cybersecurity role requiring deep expertise in RMF (DoDI 8510.01), NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and compliance execution within classified environments. You will serve as the primary security advisor to mission stakeholders and ensure continuous monitoring, audit readiness, and risk mitigation. You must be able to work onsite at Offutt AFB, Nebraska.


    Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:

    Maintain and defend ATO for DRSN/NC3 systems through full RMF lifecycle executionDevelop and manage RMF artifacts (SSP, POA&M, SAR) and compliance evidenceLead A&A workflows in eMASS and/or XACTA IA ManagerConduct vulnerability and control audits using ACAS/Nessus; document remediation actionsMaintain SCIF accreditation and TEMPEST documentation (as applicable)Coordinate with government stakeholders (DAO/DTRA/NEC) and O&M teams to implement security changes through configuration managementManage security agreements and letters (MOA/MOU/AOR) with external partnersSupport cybersecurity inspections/audits and provide monthly reporting to leadership


    Position Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in IT/Cybersecurity/Computer Science (or related) (Preferred)4+ years hands-on RMF/ATO experience in an ISSO/IA capacity6+ years total Information Assurance experienceDemonstrated experience authoring RMF artifacts (SSP, POA&M, SAR)Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and CNSSI 1253Experience using eMASS and/or XACTAExperience with ACAS/Nessus or equivalent scanning toolsDoD 8140.03 intermediate-level cybersecurity work role experiencePrior support to USSTRATCOM / Combatant Commands / strategic mission systemsTEMPEST accreditation/assessment experienceExperience supporting secure switching/voice systems (e.g., DSS-2A)CCSS training/certificationImpeccable customer service skills.Strong written documentation skills, independent execution, and ability to communicate technical requirements to mixed audiencesAvailable to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM CST.Read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.Expertexperience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems to include Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.Top Secret (TS) with SCI eligibility (NC2-ESI access required within 3 months of hire)Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC).Completion of initial and ongoing security training is required.Must meet client suitability.

    You will serve as the Principal Cybersecurity Advisor supporting the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) and other secure mission systems. In this role, you will ensure continuous Authorization to Operate (ATO) for capabilities supporting USSTRATCOMs Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) mission. This is a high-impact, technical position focused on RMF accreditation, compliance execution, and risk mitigation within classified environments. You must be able to work onsite atOffutt AFB, Nebraska.


    Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:

    Execute the fullRisk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle to maintain ATO; develop and manage SSPs, POA&Ms, and SARsManage Assessment & Authorization (A&A) workflows using eMASS and/or XACTA; track security controls and supporting artifactsConduct monthly security audits and vulnerability assessments using ACAS/NessusProvide cybersecurity guidance to the PMO and mission stakeholders on control implementation, compliance expectations, and risk postureIdentify security violations and non-compliance issues; analyze vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation recommendationsMaintain classified documentation and produce detailed Monthly Status Reports (MSR) for government stakeholders.



    Position Qualifications
