We are seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Operations Specialist for local deliveries within a 100 mile radius of the greater St. Louis Metro area. This is a day shift position (6am-2:30pm), Monday through Friday, occasional overtime daily, No Weekends.
Responsibilities
Delivers company products to customers in a courteous manner ensuring customer satisfaction and using time management skills to efficiently complete deliveries and pick-ups. Possesses or is able to obtain a DOT medical card and MO Class E License. Complies with all safety regulations and policies through DOT and the company. Is able to carefully load and unload large and heavy products (windows and doors) to and from truck by hand, lifting up to 125lbs.
Deliver company products without deviation from the predetermined routeAdvise Operations Manager, Delivery Coordinator or Warehouse Lead of all vehicle or delivery problemsInspect vehicle daily and report any deficiencies to managementOperate all vehicles safely and in accordance with state, local and federal DOT regulationsComplete drivers daily logComplete all paperwork associated with delivery, noting discrepancies and collecting COD payment as required.Review all paperwork at the end of each shift with Operations Manager, Delivery Coordinator, or Warehouse Lead, and bring any discrepancies to his/her attentionLoad trucks as scheduled, securing all products and accessories in order to eliminate shipping damage and / or delivery errorsUnload truck at site in accordance with all company policies and proceduresNotify appropriate personnel immediately of any and all traffic violations, accidents or injuriesAssist Receiving as needed. Scan all incoming product to designated locationsUnload products from vendors and properly distribute products either to work-in-process or stockOperate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, lifts, and carts to distribute and move productAssist Operations Dept. with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse following 5s proceduresOther duties as neededSkills/Knowledge
