Reporting directly to the Medical Director, the sonographer emphasizes patient interaction, safety compliance, and collaboration with healthcare staff to support effective medical decision-making.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and specialized ultrasound imaging procedures, including cardiac and vascular examinationsPrepare patients effectively for sonographic evaluationAnalyze images to identify abnormalities and support accurate diagnosesOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot sonography equipmentDocument findings and complete detailed diagnostic reportsAdhere to safety standards and regulatory complianceEngage and educate patients to ensure comfort and cooperation during proceduresCollaborate closely with healthcare providers and team membersParticipate in quality assurance activities to maintain high imaging standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in diagnostic medical sonographyRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
