Major DutiesProcess daily case intake by utilizing specialized federal software to assign and prepare new disability claims for evaluation.Manage high-volume clerical tasks including photocopying, scanning, data entry, indexing in electronic queues, and filing.Handle incoming mail, monitor fax machines and printers, and prepare outgoing mailings within strict deadlines.Answer the statewide toll-free line to address basic inquiries, navigate systems to identify assigned examiners, and route calls appropriately.Review sensitive program forms and documentation according to specific parameters established during training.Assist with specialized indexing, certifications, and tasks regarding medical examinations and fiscal payments.
What We Are Looking ForStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new, specialized electronic applications.High attention to detail, precision, and discretion when handling highly sensitive and confidential personal information.Excellent phone skills, clear communication, and a history of providing great customer service.Proven punctuality, reliability, and the efficiency required to manage a steady, constant volume of documentation.Demonstrated tact, cooperation, and professionalism when interacting with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.Ability to successfully pass a Federal Background Check with fingerprinting and obtain a Real ID promptly.
