The RN Clinical Manager assists the Administrator with the supervision of home health services to patients in accordance with physician orders and strives to provide the highest quality of care. The RN Clinical Manager is also responsible for the review of the individual patient medical record/Plan of Care for compliance with Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care regulations and company policies, making recommendations for improvements.
The position facilitates recommendations and modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians, verbally and electronically, and other members of the health care team to ensure a complete medical record/Plan of Care is in place to support individual outcomes-based care plans, and timely coding and OASIS submission guidelines.
The RN Clinical Manager manages the clinical team and is always available during operating hours or appoints a similarly qualified alternate and participates in all activities relevant to professional services furnished, including the development of qualifications and assignment of personnel.
