Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Print Shop Manager to lead daily operations while actively working in production. This role is ideal for someone who can manage a team, maintain quality standards, and jump in to operate equipment to keep jobs moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily print shop operations and production workflowActively operate equipment including large-format printers, vinyl cutters, and engraving machinesProduce and assist with signage, banners, decals, and custom print jobsManage, train, and support staff to ensure high-quality outputReview print jobs for accuracy, design quality, and deadlinesMaintain production schedules and prioritize incoming ordersCommunicate with customers regarding project details, proofs, and timelinesMonitor inventory and order materials (vinyl, substrates, inks, etc.)Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenanceEnsure safety standards and shop organization are maintainedQualifications:
Experience in print production, sign shop operations, or related fieldStrong knowledge of large-format printing, vinyl applications, or similar processesLeadership experience with the ability to lead by example in a hands-on environmentAbility to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced settingDetail-oriented with a strong focus on quality controlBasic computer skills; experience with design or print software (Adobe Suite, RIP software) preferredPreferred Experience:
Large-format printing (banners, posters, signage)Vinyl cutting and installationDTF transfers or apparel printingLaser engraving or custom product productionWhat We’re Looking For:
