Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on EVS Supervisor/Working Manager to lead our Environmental Services (Housekeeping) team during the evening shift. This full-time role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in healthcare or medical facility cleaning, who can balance both supervisory responsibilities and active participation in daily cleaning operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, performing quality inspections, and ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and compliant with all healthcare sanitation standards. This role will also play a key part in overseeing the evening shutdown of the building and housekeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, support, and work alongside the housekeeping team during the 3 PM 11 PM shiftPerform cleaning duties as needed to ensure high standards are consistently metConduct daily inspections of rooms, common areas, and work performed by housekeeping staffAssist in training, scheduling, and evaluating team membersEnforce compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations specific to healthcare environmentsCommunicate effectively with management and other departments regarding maintenance or cleanliness issuesOversee and participate in the orderly shutdown of the building and housekeeping operations at the end of shiftEnsure housekeeping supply inventory is monitored and maintainedQualifications:
