Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Bachelor's or Associate's degree in computer technology or a related discipline preferred. * Two years experience including Co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred. * Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely. * Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on proactive solutions. * Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work. * Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines. * Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers. * Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and networking standards. * Must be able to lift over 40 lbs. as part of regular job duties The estimated salary range for this role is $58,500-$75,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Here's how a Materials Coordinator for our US PICCo office contributes to our team: Responsibilities * Generate requisitions for temporary materials and services and expedites approvals. * Monitors and instructs warehouse and laydown personnel in correct receiving and storage procedures. * Monitors the toolcribs. * Electronically receive materials. * Monitors storage locations. * Generate and / or close system transactions for temporary, permanent materials and equipment such as: Purchase Orders for client or engineering supplied materials and equipment; Material Received Reports (MRR); Over, Short, and Damage (OS&D) reports; Inventory Change Records; Pick Tickets; Transfers / Shipments; etc. * Coordinate OS&D resolution with client, project team, procurement and supplier as needed. * Coordinate inventory and disposition of surplus material, equipment, and temporary facilities needing return for credit, transfer to client, or demobilization. Qualifications * Minimum 3 years on site material coordinator experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong background in warehousing/laydown processes. Construction trade certification with related experience is beneficial (min 3 years). * General to advanced construction knowledge. Familiarity with drawings, understanding specifications, material grades. * Intermediate knowledge of commonly used construction materials, services, tools, and equipment. * Knowledge of industrial construction permanent materials. * Basic understanding of project life cycle, supply chain lifecycle, storage facility management, logistics, and material distribution. * Strong verbal and written (expression and comprehension) communication skills. Can develop and maintain effective relationships. * Strong work ethic, time management skills, and sense of urgency. Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment. * Demonstrates leadership, identifies areas for change, works with others to solve problems, develops others, and holds themselves and others accountable. * Strong computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office software with an aptitude for adopting new technology and systems and experience with material management systems is an asset.
