At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Field Service Technician (FST) to support healthcare providers by delivering, installing, servicing, and maintaining specialty medical equipment across an assigned service area.
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring healthcare facilities have reliable access to the equipment they need to deliver exceptional patient care. You’ll be responsible for equipment deliveries, pickups, troubleshooting, warehouse organization, inventory management, and maintaining accurate operational records.
This is more than a delivery position—you’ll serve as the face of the company in the field, providing dependable service while ensuring equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.

What You’ll OwnMedical Equipment Delivery & Field ServiceDeliver, install, pick up, and troubleshoot specialty medical and respiratory equipment.Travel throughout your assigned service area using a company-provided vehicle.Ensure equipment is delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule.Respond to service requests professionally while providing exceptional customer service.Support healthcare facilities by ensuring equipment remains operational and ready for use.Equipment Maintenance & Warehouse OperationsInspect, clean, maintain, and organize medical equipment.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse/storage facility.Prepare equipment for future deliveries and customer use.Monitor inventory and maintain operational readiness.Follow company standards for equipment handling and maintenance.Documentation & ReportingRecord customer orders and equipment movement accurately.Maintain timely reporting of deliveries, pickups, inventory, and service activities.Track vehicle usage, equipment data, and operational updates using company systems.Support purchase order processing and inventory documentation.Utilize company mobile devices and applications for reporting.Customer Service & Operations SupportRepresent the company professionally during every customer interaction.Build positive relationships with healthcare providers and facility staff.Follow company policies, safety procedures, and service standards.Support on-call and emergency deliveries when required.Contribute to efficient day-to-day field operations.RequirementsMust-Have QualificationsExperienceMust be 21 years of age or older.Minimum 6 months of experience driving a 10-foot cargo van or similar vehicle.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with:No major violations.No more than two minor violations.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Core SkillsStrong customer service and communication skills.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.Flexible schedule for overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.Nice to HaveClinical or healthcare experience.Experience working with medical or respiratory equipment.Previous field service, delivery, or logistics experience within healthcare environments.Physical RequirementsAbility to occasionally lift and move up to 75 lbs.Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs.Comfortable working in hot and cold environments.Ability to drive for extended periods throughout the workday.Physically capable of loading, unloading, and setting up equipment.Tools & EquipmentCompany VehicleCompany Cell PhoneMobile ApplicationsMicrosoft OfficeWarehouse EquipmentMedical & Respiratory EquipmentWhat Makes You a Strong FitSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Strong customer-first mindset.Professional communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.Adaptable in fast-paced field environments.Takes pride in delivering exceptional service.What a Typical Day Looks LikeLoad equipment for scheduled deliveries.Travel throughout your assigned service area.Deliver, install, troubleshoot, and retrieve medical equipment.Inspect, clean, and prepare returned equipment.Organize warehouse inventory and maintain equipment readiness.Update delivery records and equipment movements using mobile applications.Respond to service requests and emergency deliveries as needed.In short: You help healthcare providers deliver better patient care by ensuring medical equipment is delivered, maintained, and available whenever it’s needed.
