    Paul Mitchell The School Norman is seeking an experienced and student focused Financial Aid Leader to oversee all financial aid operations for our Cosmetology, Barbering and Esthetics programs. This role is responsible for administering Title IV federal student aid programs, scholarships, payment plans and cash-pay student accounts while ensuring full regulatory compliance and exceptional student service.

    What We Are Looking For

    The ideal candidate will be able to interpret, apply, and comply with federal, state, and institutional guidelines and regulations related to financial aid. He or she is highly organized, compliance minded, compassionate, and experienced in financial aid within a postsecondary or vocational education environment.

    Skills/Competencies Required:

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in financial aid required Computer and data entry skills required Ability to multitask Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Solid work history with verifiable references Passion for the beauty industryMeet deadlines Honesty and professionalism Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is preferred

    THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS A FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

    This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position based at our Roswell, GA campus. You will enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, allowing you to plan your personal time with ease.

    As our Bookkeeper, you will start your day by reconciling financial accounts and managing payables, ensuring everything balances and is up to date. You will prepare deposits and transition into creating journal entries and financial statements that will guide business decisions across multiple locations. Throughout the day, you will generate operational reports and provide leadership with accurate data. You will play a key role in audit preparation, making sure all financial records are organized and compliant. Your work will ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, giving our team the confidence to focus on what they do best.


    OUR IDEAL FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

    Experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role (not just payables or receivables)Solid understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting principlesQuickBooks proficiencyAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (lookups and pivot tables)Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial informationStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills

    We are looking for a hands-on individual with experience in all areas of bookkeeping. Formal accounting degrees are not required! Candidates with practical experience, an accounting certificate, or a completed bookkeeping class are encouraged to apply.
