    Construction Project Manager

     

    Project Manager needed for the country’s leading disaster restoration company. Paul Davis Restoration believes that its people are the cornerstone of the business. We look for talented people that exhibit a strong foundation of honesty, integrity and are not afraid to provide extraordinary care while serving people in their time of need. We look for leaders with creative problem solving skills and a strong work ethic. A background in residential construction and fire/water restoration is preferred but will train the right person even with a limited background, but he or she must exhibit the potential for growth. You must be able to function in a team environment, have a passion for customer service and POSSESS STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Planning and executing construction plans and schedules, and being flexible enough to meet changing needs and requirementsManage project budget to meet the financial targets, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for each projectRecruit, supervise and manage subcontractors/trade partners, assign responsibilities and hold the subcontractors/trades accountable for timely execution of the workInterface with clients, inspectors, engineers, city and county officials, estimators, vendors and office staff to ensure great execution, quality and meeting deadlinesEffectively delivering on our brand promise, upholding our core values and meet project quality standardsEnsure project documents are delivered complete, on time and stored appropriatelyParticipate in the on-call rotation, requiring evening and weekend point of contact for any new losses, as determined by the rotating schedule

    Work Experience and Education

    Minimum college degree or equivalent industry experience required (construction or restoration).3-5 years’ minimum proven experience in construction or restoration construction and project management.Proficiency with computers and various technologies.Industry certifications, including IICRC and Lead, preferred.Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as well as background check required.

    Restoration Mitigation and Contents Estimator


    Job Summary: Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mitigation and Contents Estimator to join our team. As the Mitigation and Contents Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing and scoping residential and commercial restoration projects. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately estimate the extent of damage caused by disasters such as fires, floods, and other traumatic events. You will work closely with property owners, insurance professionals, and mitigation and project managers to ensure the successful completion of restoration projects. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives by helping to restore their homes and businesses.

    Responsibilities:


    Assess the extent of damage and develop detailed scopes of work for restoration projects with input from a Matterport video file, MICA mitigation report, and other photos and notes provided by the mitigation team and project managers.Conduct on-site inspections for large and complex jobs to supplement the Matterport/MICA file/Photos/Notes information.Accurately estimate the cost, materials, and labor required for each project and gain estimate approval from insurance adjusters.Communicate and collaborate with property owners, insurance adjusters, and mitigation and project managers to establish project expectations and timelines.Build and maintain relationships with insurance professionals and adjusters to facilitate smooth project coordination.Ensure that all necessary permits and documentation are obtained for each project.Collaborate with the production team to ensure that work is completed according to the agreed-upon scope and quality standards.Monitor project progress, identify any estimate changes or additional work required, and communicate them promptly to all relevant stakeholders.Maintain accurate records of project details, including estimates, change orders, and supplements in the companys CRM systemStay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and relevant regulations pertaining to restoration and estimating.Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and customer satisfaction. Oversee and support AR and collections

    Consistently deliver Exceptional Customer Service to all external/internal customers

    Requirements:


    Proven experience in the construction or restoration industry.Strong knowledge of residential and commercial building construction, materials, and techniques.Proficiency in using estimating software and tools (e.g., Xactimate, Symbility, etc.) to generate accurate estimates.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with property owners, adjusters, and mitigation and project managers.Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze information and make precise estimations.Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record, ability to pass a background screening and drug testBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is a plus.Industry (IICRC) certifications are a plus.Physical ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.Compensation and Benefits:

    Construction Project Coordinator

    We are looking for a proactive project coordinator to join our respected property restoration company, Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Columbia.     This is a full-time, in-office role, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

    Candidates should be team-oriented, enthusiastic about customer service, and able to demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    Ensure project documents are complete, delivered on time, and stored appropriately in the job management system.Assist customers with material and finish selections, ensuring their choices align with project timelines and budgets.Perform administrative duties including preparing reports, updating project schedules, processing purchase orders, maintaining job files, and organizing meeting notes.Assist with data entry, correspondence, and maintaining accurate digital and physical records for all projects.Coordinate calendars, schedule inspections, and track permitting processes.Oversee our customer showroom, and make sure customer selections are organized and appropriately labeledDevelop and maintain relationships with local vendors to ensure we are getting the best products for our customers.Participate in the on-call rotation, which requires being the point of contact for any new issues during evenings and weekends, as determined by the rotating schedule.

    SUMMARY:

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS:


    Must be a team player and possess outstanding leadership qualitiesShould be self-motivated and work with a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and possess a strong work ethicMust believe in providing exceptional customer serviceMust be proficient with computers, mobile devices and various technologiesShould be detail oriented, highly communicative and able to prioritize and manage timelinesPrefer a holder of current IICRC certifications, but willing to train the right candidate.Minimum 1 year experience in the home services industry.


    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS: (Illustrative, not all inclusive)

    Professionally represent the Paul Davis core values.Serve as point person and first responder during emergency losses.Establish and record the scope of work to be accomplished.Prepare accurate equipment readings and sketches for estimator to complete scope of workOversee equipment maintenance and expendables (to include maintainingMSDS sheets).

    Communicate with management and customers.Full time position with 24/7 hours and rotating on-call schedule.Complete jobs successfully and obtains certificate of completion.Able to climb a ladder, lift at least 75 pounds and work in confined spaces.Follow established safety practices including the proper use of PPE when required.
    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
    High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e. GED, etc.) Minimum of one (1) year experience in WRT, ASD, but willing to train the right candidate

    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES:
    Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record and pass a background check.

    2. All work will be performed in accordance with the state laws and IICRC regulations.
