Construction Project Manager
We are in need of a project manager for our leading property restoration company. At Paul Davis Restoration of Myrtle Beach, Georgetown and Florence, we believe that our people are the foundation of our business. We are looking for talented individuals who demonstrate honesty, integrity, and provide exceptional care to those in need. We seek leaders with strong problem-solving skills, a solid work ethic, and preferably a background in residential construction and fire/water restoration. However, we are willing to train the right candidate with growth potential, even with limited experience. Candidates must be able to work well in a team, have a passion for customer service, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute construction plans and schedules, and be adaptable to meet changing needs and requirements
- Manage project budgets to meet financial targets, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for each project
- Recruit, supervise, and manage subcontractors/trade partners, assign responsibilities, and hold them accountable for timely execution of work
- Interface with clients, inspectors, engineers, city and county officials, estimators, vendors, and office staff to ensure excellent execution, quality, and meeting deadlines
- Deliver on our brand promise, uphold our core values, and meet project quality standards effectively
- Ensure project documents are delivered complete, on time, and stored appropriately
- Participate in the on-call rotation, requiring evening and weekend point of contact for any new losses, as determined by the rotating schedule
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with compassion and empathy for the customer
- Professional presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm in stressful situations
- Take initiative in pursuing industry certifications and improving technical knowledge
- Familiarity with construction job management systems (e.g. Dash, Buildertrend, etc.)

Work Experience and Education:
-Minimum college degree or equivalent industry experience required (in construction or restoration)
-3-5 years’ minimum proven experience in construction or restoration construction and project management
-Proficiency with computers and various technologies
-Industry certifications, including IICRC and Lead, preferred
-Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, background check, and drug screening required

What does an ERC with Paul Davis do?
As an ERC, you need to think quickly but in a controlled manner to ensure the property owner that you can take care of their property. ERCs work with home or business owners, insurance adjusters, and project managers, First Responders, and community leaders after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to help our customers receive the highest quality care as they transition from chaos to calm. ERCs are dynamic speakers and comfortable when interacting in both one-on-one and group settings.
Responsibilities:
· Generate revenue opportunities by directly consulting with property owners impacted by fire, water damage, or other large-scale emergency events
· Cooperate with public emergency response agencies and private entities
· Create and retain customer loyalty and preference by establishing a positive and trusting relationship with the customer
· Participate in restoration related community awareness events and programs
· Proactively searches for, acts upon potential opportunities ERC’s work with owners, adjusters, and project managers, First Responders, and community leaders after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to help our customers receive the highest quality care
· The ERC will develop a positive and trusting relationship with the property owner
Qualifications:
· Must have emergency services experience; military, fire service, EMS, police, dispatching of emergency responders.
· Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most
· Proficient with a variety of current technology
· Career emphasis on learning and continuing education

· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required
· Must be able to prioritize and manage time

Role on the Team
· Responsible for educating the customer on products or services and effectively articulate the use and need
· Monitors interprets and responds to lead sources
· Establish and maintain positive relationships in the local community
· Volunteer non-operational time to related community events
· On-call 24/7 to include weekends and holidays as scheduled
· Achieve and remain current in required certifications
· Provide emergency recovery kits and services to the impacted property owner
· Support the office and company in their organizational mission, vision, and values
Required Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Four plus years’ experience in the following areas (any combination): restoration, military, fire services, EMS, police, medical responder, dispatching of emergency responders, construction, insurance
· Experience in an outside sales role or customer service role
· Experience in restoration or construction industries is strongly preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
· The physical environment requires the employee to work in all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions
· Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having the ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds
