Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, and skip loaders safely and efficiently in underground utility construction projectsPerform benching, sloping, and safe digging around utilities to ensure project safety and compliance with regulationsConduct daily inspections and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safetyFollow project plans and specifications accurately to deliver high-quality work within established timelinesIdentify and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain project schedulesCollaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate operations and ensure safety protocols are followedMaintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety inspectionsRequired Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment in utility or similar projectsProficiency in operating excavators, loaders, skid steers, and other relevant machineryKnowledge of safety standards and procedures related to underground utility constructionAbility to perform benching and sloping techniques safely and accuratelyStrong understanding of construction plans, diagrams, and specificationsValid driver’s license and relevant certifications for heavy equipment operationPreferred Qualifications
