    Your Role

    Serve as a House Attending Physician, overseeing patient care in post-acute and primary care settings.Manage and lead a team of house physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and medical scribes.Collaborate with the Medical Director to coordinate and improve patient care.Communicate with patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.Review patient charts and provide medical oversight and guidance as needed.Qualifications

    Patriot Medical Wound Health is seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Assistant to join our wound care team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands on clinical experience while working directly with physicians nurse practitioners physician assistants and other medical professionals.

    This role is ideal for candidates pursuing a future career in healthcare including PA school medical school nursing wound care physical therapy or other clinical fields.

    Our wound care model is collaborative supportive and quality focused. You will not be working alone. You will work directly with providers medical assistants scribes nursing staff therapists nutrition support and facility teams to help deliver excellent patient care.

    What You Will Do

    Prepare patient charts and wound care notes before each visit.

    Round in person with wound care providers.

    Scribe medical notes and assist with accurate clinical documentation.

    Assist providers during wound care visits and procedures under supervision.

    Help organize wound measurements photos supplies and treatment information.

    Communicate with providers nurses facility staff and administrative team members.

    Assist with follow up tasks orders and patient care coordination.

    Support a smooth workflow during wound rounds.

    Maintain professionalism patient privacy and accurate documentation.

    Position Summary

    Responsibilities

    Qualifications


    Prior healthcare management, administrative assistant preferred.

    Comfortable using EMR systems, scheduling tools, email, spreadsheets, and practice management platforms.

    Qualifications


    Active Physician Assistant license in New York.

    Communicate regularly with physicians regarding changes in patient status and treatment plans

    Support the medical team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care

    Participate in care coordination, documentation, and clinical follow-up

    Help ensure continuity of care across post-acute and long-term care settings
