This position is for a full time special education certified teacher for a small class of up to 10 students. This classroom will also have a full time para assigned to support the teacher and students.
Responsibilities for teacher:
Implement designated curriculum
Deliver expected curriculum instruction with fidelity
Actively monitor students following the staff duty schedule
Create and implement Individual Education Programs
Collect, analyze, and report on individual student data
Keep up to date attendance/illness/accident records of children in the class
Plan, implement and post a weekly written plan of daily class activities
Set up and maintain an appropriate classroom environment (this includes ensuring a clean and safe classroom)
Provide quarterly written assessments to administration/families on children’s progress
Provide written guidelines for substitutes
Give guidance and direction to teacher assistants and volunteers
Attend staff meetings and functions of Pathways

The home room case load is 8-10 students with some additional students being seen for a specific content area.
Only special education certified teachers will be considered for this position.

The salary range for this position is $52,000 and above.
