Position Role: The Physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, managing chronic and acute conditions, and promoting overall wellness. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing patient-centered, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Duties
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work, imaging, and screenings.Counsel patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.Provide emergency care and stabilize patients as necessary.Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.Refer patients to specialists when necessary and oversee continuity of care.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with regulatory and organizational policies.Adhere to state and federal medical regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance.Stay current on advancements in medical practices, treatments, and healthcare regulations.Other Responsibilities
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education (CME).Provide mentorship and guidance to medical staff and trainees.Contribute to community health initiatives and patient education programs.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.Board certification or board eligibility preferredValid and unrestricted state medical license.DEA certification for prescribing medications.BLS/ACLS certificationStrong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills.
