    We are looking for a bright, energetic and highly motivated individual to join our organization as an IT Technician. If you have a passion for and expertise in IT Support, are a proactive problem solver, you work well in a team environment and are interested in helping us take our IT Department to the next level then this is the job for you!


    Position Summary:


    The position provides internal IT support to Bank employees by performing a variety of information technology support duties in order to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. Monitors, operates, coordinates and assists others in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals in order to achieve desired results. Utilizes computer equipment, software and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of customer assistance, and equipment maintenance and repair. Consults and cooperates with other IT support staff. Technicians may also set up computer equipment, schedule maintenance and be the main point of contact for employees who are experiencing computer issues.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    Assist and support users with the use of core banking applications, standard software, Windows, Google Workplace and other related banking business solutions. Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voicemail, email, and ticket requests for assistance promptly and with overall positive satisfaction. Escalate to other IT staff as appropriate while still being responsible for the prompt resolution of the request.

    Work with third-party vendors to coordinate banking industry specific software installations, upgrades, technical support requests and monitor vendor accountability.

    Create and update documentation on established Technical Support procedures and processes, problem resolution steps, and escalation procedures. Make recommendations to management on updates and changes needed.

    Coordinate and/or develop training to coach, mentor or train co-workers on changes to applications as they are installed, updated or removed.

    Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities -- knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

    Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

    Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

    Balance cash drawers daily, and the ATMs as assigned.

    Be on call for after hours for ATM servicing.

    Summary

    The right candidate will be responsible for providing personalized banking services to our most valued asset, our customers! You will be building, maintaining, and deepening relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service and recommending appropriate products and services. The primary focus of this position is coaching and motivating staff to meet branch growth goals. In addition, this position is responsible for managing the cash levels of the office, scheduling the Service Representative staff, and ensuring new staff is adequately trained.

    Key Responsibilities

    Coach and motivate staff to effectively sell and refer bank products and services.

    Accept and accurately process a variety of financial transactions for customers

    Listen to the customer's financial needs and cross-sell other bank services and refer customers to other departments as appropriate, to support the customer's financial growth.

    Prepares and compiles new customer application and information to open new accounts.

    Helps grow the Bank’s deposit base by working to consolidate customers’ account with PSB, accepting loan applications and by referring to other personnel as appropriate.

    Assists in sales efforts of Universal Bankers by answering product and service questions. Be a resource for other employees in the Bank who are cross selling deposit services

    Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes.

    Manage cash level of the office to a designated level.

    Schedule staff to maximize convenient and efficient customer service.

    Oversee training of new and existing service representatives to ensure compliance with Passumpsic Savings Bank policy, and with all Federal and State regulations.

    Qualifications


    High School diploma or equivalent and five years of experience in job related activities or two years of related college or technical training and three years of experience in job related activities

    Strong communications skills

    Strong human relations skills to include; patience, understanding, empathy and listening.

    Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.

    Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
