Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure the reliable operation of production, packaging, processing, and utility equipment through preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and operational issues and perform repairs as needed. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations to minimize downtime. Read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, blueprints, and work orders. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities, including computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) work orders and equipment inspections. Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, SPC charts, and maintenance records to identify improvement opportunities. Support and maintain manufacturing support systems, including lubrication delivery, chemical delivery, ingredient delivery, and utility systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, electric meters, testing devices, and material handling equipment safely and effectively. Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and required documentation in accordance with company procedures and SOPs.
