Job Summary and QualificationsThe Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.
What you will do in this role:
Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Job Summary and QualificationsThe Surgical Services Nurse Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
What you will do in this role:
Help create a superior clinical identity by operationalizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes, while ensuring adherence to standards of care. Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. Manage all staffing needs and personnel management including interviewing, hiring and training new staff members. Oversee care of patients on unit, providing consistent support and expertise to staff. Perform duties in accordance with unit specific standards of care and evidenced by completion of a competency skills check list. Maintain overall workflow of unit by ensuring proper staff levels. Manage and coordinate all unit activities including safety procedures, unit goals and department operations. Handle patient, visitor, or physician complaints promptly and in a professional manner. Provide leadership, coaching and counseling to department employees. Collaborate with other disciplines and departments to improve patient care delivery.What qualifications you will need:
Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state required.1+ years of related clinical experience required.Prior related clinical leadership experience strongly preferred.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Job Summary and QualificationsThe Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) utilizes skills and training to perform test of samples of blood, urine and other body fluids to obtain information utilized in diagnosis and evaluation of patient medical status. Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. Maintains cultural awarenesswhen dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers. What you will do in this role:
You will handle specimen processing, preanalytic inspection of specimens for identification and integrity.
You will perform various types of laboratory test(s) on patient specimens, evaluates test results, and report/enter/verify test results in Laboratory Information System.
You will perform and evaluates periodic quality control per policy and procedure.
You will evaluate new and/or modified procedures, reagents and instruments as directed by Section Coordinator.
Troubleshoots all instruments as directed by SectionCoordinator.
Participates in hospital initiatives and in department goals set by the Laboratory Director and Manager
What qualifications you will need:
Associate degree; Graduatefroma NCCLS accredited Medical Technician program.
Hospital laboratory experience preferred.
