    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a talented and creative Caker / Pastry Chef to join our team at Paris Baguette in mansfield, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for caking and pastry arts, along with the skills and expertise to produce a wide range of delightful treats. From classic croissants to intricate cakes, this individual will play a pivotal role in upholding our standards of excellence and delighting customers with each bite.

    Responsibilities:

    Prepare and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and company standards.
    Craft various edible decorations using icing, fondant, and other decoration tools.
    Collaborate with customers and team members to understand requirements and vision for occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and other special events.
    Ensure all decorations are completed with a focus on quality and detail within the set timeline.
    Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    Keep inventory of decorating supplies and place orders as necessary.
    Continuously learn and implement new decorating techniques.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a Cake Decorator, with a portfolio of your designs
    Expertise in using decorating tools and in various decorating techniques
    Ability to replicate designs from pictures and customize designs as per client request
    Strong artistic and creative skills to create visually appealing decorations.
    Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders
    Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
    Certification from a culinary school or a related field is a plus.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

    As the General Manager you will help cultivate a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level. You will be responsible for all aspects of cafe operations and floor management including food, beverage, equipment and property.
