Wear complete Paragon uniformWear appropriate personal protective equipmentComplete assigned training programs, tests, and field check listsPractice and reinforce all Paragon safety practices and protocolsConduct daily inspections and maintenance of landscape trucks prior to drivingDrive and navigate landscape trucks to designated locations safely and responsibly. Maintain awareness of truck height and weight restrictionsMaintain cleanliness and organization of assigned lawn care truckConduct daily inspections and maintenance of tank sprayers, ride on sprayer spreaders, manual spreaders, and backpack sprayers prior to operationCalibrate lawn care application equipmentLoad and secure lawn care equipmentOperate various lawn care equipment including tank sprayers, ride on sprayer spreaders, manual spreaders, and backpack sprayers, Ventrac tractors, Ventrac seedavator, Billy Goat core aerator, and Billy Goat slit seederFollow all Paragon lawn care application systems and protocols during execution of lawn care applicationsEnsure all lawn care applications are executed completely, safely and within project time allotmentsDiagnose pest, disease, and environmental problemsComplete and submit all daily paperwork tracking job time, materials, and job notesCommunicate with clients in a polite and courteous mannerComply with all company policies and regulationsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma, GED or equivalentAt least 3 years’ experience in the lawn care industry.Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.Ability to speak and communicate (verbal and written) in English.Display strong communication skills with Paragon staff members and clientsDisplay reasonable level of turfgrass knowledge and basic weed, pest, and disease identification.Ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines.Operate various lawn care equipment including tank sprayers, ride on sprayer spreaders, manual spreaders, and backpack sprayers, Ventrac tractors, Ventrac seedavator, Billy Goat core aerator, and Billy Goat slit seederAbility to calibrate lawn care spreader and sprayersDisplay accountability for work being performed and completed on schedule.Display a commitment to safety and practicing safe work behaviors.Display a safe driving history.Professional appearanceWorking conditions:
Work requires the ability to lift 100 lbs. on occasion, and frequently transport plant material around the job site up to 50 lbs. Physical requirements also include lifting, bending, walking, carrying, and pushing equipment on a continual basis. This position works outdoors in various whether conditions. The noise level at the job site may be loud when operating certain equipment, such as a lawnmower or backpack blower.

Responsible for direct supervision of landscape maintenance / enhancement crew by following and teaching proven maintenance and enhancement systems and protocols.Practice and reinforce all safety practices and protocolsStrong attention to detail is requiredEnsure all landscape enhancement installation and maintenance projects are executed completely, safely and within project time allotmentsProjects include complete seasonal container and bedding plant installations, landscape enhancement planting installations, spring clean ups, edging and mulching, fertilization, insect and disease control, general garden care, pruning, fall clean upsOperate various landscape tools and equipment including but not limited to: compact utility loaders, Ventrac tractors, sod cutters, rototillers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning equipment, lawn mowers and line trimmersComplete and submit all daily paperwork tracking job time, materials, and job notesCommunicate with clients in a polite and courteous mannerComply with all company policies and regulationsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
