    As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and analysis of civil and structural engineering projects within the power delivery sector. You will collaborate with talented professionals and contribute to innovative projects that are essential to the nation's energy infrastructure.

    Your role involves engineering analysis, developing design specifications, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. You will be responsible for the integrity and safety of structures while also considering the economic and operational aspects of projects.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Design and analyze civil and structural components for electrical substations and related infrastructure.Create detailed engineering designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.Conduct site assessments and field investigations to evaluate site conditions and material properties.Perform calculations related to load analysis, structural dynamics, and stability assessments.Collaborate with project engineers and other team members to integrate civil/structural designs with electrical and mechanical aspects of projects.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, studies, and design calculations.Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project schedules.Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and ensure that construction is executed as per design specifications.Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.Ensure all engineering practices align with Paradigm Power Delivery’s commitment to sustainability and safety.

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or closely related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PE license within a specified time.5 years of relevant experience in civil or structural engineering.Familiarity with structural analysis and design software Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and codes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Commitment to safety and high-quality engineering practices.Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

    We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing and guiding electrical engineering projects from conception through completion. This individual will play a critical role in the design and implementation of electrical systems for power delivery projects, leveraging their expertise to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically related to power delivery projects.Proficient in engineering design software and tools, with strong analytical and technical skills.Thorough understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations that apply to power delivery systems.Demonstrated leadership capabilities in project management and team collaboration.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

    The Estimator - Power Delivery will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for various power delivery projects.     Essential Responsibilities:

    As a Field Engineer, you will work closely with and report directly to the Construction Manager and you may be positioned in the office or at project site. If at the project site, you will be expected to be a job-site leader in health and safety, ensuring quality reporting and workmanship, and that all work is completed professionally and ethically. Your main functions will include contract administration, project planning and scheduling, and project reporting, and you will play a key supporting role in Project Management for contractual, legal, and other project issues. If at the office, you will be expected to support estimating, project execution planning, procurement planning, process enhancement, and other pre-construction activities to support the company’s objectives.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Assist in the interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervisionPerform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining the percentage of completed/installed materials and workLead the preparation of work plans and work packagesAssist in field surveying and work layout support, including elevation, control points, and compilation of as-built dataAssist in compiling, processing, and confirming daily labor timesheetsAssist in the preparation of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s)Participate in job site safety reviews, toolbox meetings, mass safety meetings, and safety trainingOrder and schedule material deliveriesSupervise field operationsMajority of projects are located in North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
