Position OverviewThe Reforestation and Volunteers Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading reforestation initiatives that support the organization’s conservation and restoration goals throughout Puerto Rico. This role works closely with volunteers, communities, schools, corporations, and partner organizations to implement impactful tree-planting and environmental stewardship activities.
The selected candidate will coordinate volunteer recruitment efforts, oversee event logistics, maintain strategic partnerships, and support data collection and reporting related to reforestation projects. This position combines fieldwork, environmental education, volunteer engagement, and conservation science.
Availability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, weekends, holidays, and travel within and outside Puerto Rico is required.

Las tareas incluyen, pero no se limitan a mantenimiento de áreas verdes, trabajo de campo, planta física, construcción liviana, limpieza, mecánica, electricidad, carpintería, entre otras.
Requisitos:
Cuarto año de Escuela Superior acreditada completado. Preferible, contar con un año de experiencia en distintos oficios, como: mantenimiento de automóviles, mantenimiento de áreas verdes (trimmer, “blower”, machete, poda de arbustos y árboles, entre otros), trabajo de campo y reparaciones de estructura. Licencia de Conducir vigente y disponibilidad de conducir vehículos. Disponibilidad de trabajar días feriados, fines de semana, horarios extendidos o rotativos y viajar dentro de Puerto Rico. Disponibilidad de trabajar en áreas de campo.
