PH is seeking Architectural candidates at the entry-level, mid-level, and senior management levels to join our dynamic and growing Chicago office. The ideal candidate will be an integral member of the project team, contributing across all phases of design — from schematic design through construction completion — while building strong client relationships that support the firm’s continued growth.

Responsibilities:
Participate in conceptual design and provide support throughout all phases of a projectPerform design, planning, occupancy, and layout analysesDevelop and execute technical design solutions that meet client and project requirementsDemonstrate a strong understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniquesProvide planning, design, and coordination support for projects ranging from small to large scaleCarry out complex assignments requiring the development or refinement of techniques and proceduresPlan, develop, and produce technical documentationCoordinate with consultants through schematic design, design development, and construction document phasesPerform construction administration duties, including site observations, observation reports, and responses to RFIs and submittalsParticipate in marketing efforts and assist with presentations to prospective clients, as neededEstablish and maintain productive, long-term client relationshipsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced architects, as applicable
Job Requirements:
Completed a five-year architectural degree or Masters in ArchitectureLicensed Architect or is on path to licensureExperience at all levels welcome Professional experience in multifamily residential projects (preferred)Understanding zoning and building code regulations (preferred)BIM modeling experienceDemonstrates strong technical and graphic skillsPossesses creativity, self-discipline, strong leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to develop, communicate, and present design concepts to project teamsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently
