    Position Overview

    Pantheon Data is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer III to provide technical and engineering support to the Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) System Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, programmatic support, process development, and knowledge management, with extensive experience supporting sustainment and life-cycle management of complex systems. This role will directly contribute to the successful transition of Mission Modules (MMs) to Full Operational Capability (FOC) and will require collaboration across engineering, logistics, and support organizations.

    Responsibilities

    Provide direct technical and engineering support to the MPSF System Engineer, including participation in technical reviews, meetings, and program-level working groups.Support MPSF Leadership and System Engineer with analytical and programmatic tasks, including Technical Readiness Reviews, Mission Readiness Reviews, Program Management Councils, and other forums.Address technical and engineering issues impacting MM sustainment efforts and prepare written reports on issues affecting MPSF's transition to FOC.Develop and update life-cycle support processes, tools for distance support, and RFU certification test requirements.Support development and update of MPSF infrastructure requirements, maintenance workload/manning analyses, SOPs, and personnel training requirements, including creation of MPSF Training Qualification Standards (TQS).Develop and maintain content for MPSF/MMRC spaces on NAVSEA wiki (Atlassian Confluence), Flankspeed Teams, SharePoint Online, and related products, including pages, workflows, and dashboards.Perform Wiki Site Administration duties: manage permissions and templates, conduct user training, collaborate with department site administrators, and share best practices.Lead data collection, analysis, and coordination from engineering, logistics, and support organizations.Develop and maintain the MPSF Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).Perform other tasks deemed appropriate for this role as assigned.

    Required Skills and Experience

    Master's degree in any engineering discipline and fifteen (15) years of professional experience, OR Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline and twenty (20) years of relevant engineering experience.Extensive experience in systems engineering, sustainment, and life-cycle support of complex systems, preferably within DoD or Navy environments.Strong analytical skills and experience supporting technical reviews, readiness reviews, and program management councils.Proven ability to develop and update processes, SOPs, training standards, and infrastructure requirements.Experience with knowledge management platforms (Atlassian Confluence, SharePoint, Teams) and site administration.Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and coordinate data from multiple organizations.Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing and user training.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    Experience supporting Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) or similar Navy/DoD programs.Familiarity with NAVSEA processes and requirements.Proficiency in process modeling and workflow development tools.Experience with logistics and maintenance analysis.Experience developing training qualification standards and conducting user training.Familiarity with government contracting and procurement regulations.

    Clearance Requirements

    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements. Secret Clearance is required for continued employment.

    Work Location: Oxnard, California, on-site at NSWC PHD. Frequent travel may be required, including overseas and underway.

Perform design reviews, evaluate constructability, help resolve technical issues, and manage information generated through the design and construction phases of multiple and concurrent projects.

    Required Skills and Experience

    A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering (Mechanical) with a minimum of 3 years of work experience is required.Progressive experience in one of the following marine fields: shipboard auxiliary systems, propulsion systems, HVAC, fire suppression, or other shipboard piping systems.Experience with supporting a major system acquisition program (DHS/USCG Level I, DoD ACAT I or equivalent), specifically shipbuilding acquisitions.Good communication skills, both verbal and written, excellent organizational skills, the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers, and the ability to work independently and take a proactive role.Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    Required Skills and Experience

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.Knowledge of ABS, USN, and industry standards relating to shipboard auxiliary systems.Minimum of 6 years' documented experience with design, optimization, and integration of marine auxiliary and piping systems, ship machinery integration, cargo handling systems, and weight handling systems calculations and analyses.Progressively responsible experience in marine specific fields (i.e. auxiliary systems, piping systems, fluids and hydraulics).Experience with Auto-CAD.Familiarity with ABS, NVR, and commercial ship design rules and regulations.Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
