    Panakeia, LLC Branch Manager – Medical Equipment Operations March 2026 Salary: Negotiable Founded over 15 years ago, Panakeia, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, provides medical distribution services to the military and Home Health care to Veterans around the country in the areas of home oxygen and ventilator services, home sleep testing and DME equipment. Panakeia has 5 offices and is currently expanding its operation to Columbia, South Carolina. We are looking for a Branch Manager – Medical Equipment Operations - to lead our expanding Home Oxygen Equipment and Service team in Columbia. This leadership role oversees respiratory therapists, delivery technicians, and customer service staff while ensuring compliance with federal contract requirements. This role will report directly to the Director, Home Care Operations. The Branch Manager will manage branch operations and staff performance, ensure compliance with VA contract requirements and regulatory standards, oversee patient transition activities from incumbent provider, manage inventory, equipment logistics, and scheduling, monitor and report branch performance metrics, KPI's and quality outcomes and foster strong relationships with VA clinical staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently. Compassion for the elderly and a patient-centric nature are a must. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience along with experience in healthcare, medical equipment, or respiratory services and leadership and operations management experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must, along with the ability to understand and articulate services we offer. Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
