Job Description Job Description Salary: Prn rates We are seeking an experienced Hospice RN to join our team in Round Rock, TX. About Paloma Hospice and Palliative Care: We are a growing company with offices in San Antonio, Austin, Del Rio, Dallas, Tyler and Sherman Texas. Our owners are clinical in origin and maintain that our main focus is on patients, their family, and the care they receive at this difficult time of life. Responsibilities: Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain accurate patient medical records Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members Qualifications: Previous hospice experience in nursing or other medical fields Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Job Type: prn Pay: On-call rates: Admission: $150.00 Routine visit: $75.00 Death visits: $100.00 Benefits: Mileage/Auto Reimbursement Medical specialties: Hospice Palliative Medicine Schedule: PRN schedule Must be available some nights and weekends as part of our rotating On-Call schedule License/Certification: Active TX Registered Nursing License Active TX Driver s License COVID-19 considerations: We are committed to the health and safety of our patients and staff.
